Part VI
Alfred E Neuman

Well.. I just picked out my retirement home by posting this.. but I couldnt pass it up.. Here is my oldest, he just lost another tooth.. all I could think of was Mad magazine..
He does Mad Magazine pretty well
I love my hammock, but it has to be one with the "support rods" at either end to keep it in a square. I'm not super broad-shouldered or anything, but the other kind just crunches me... not comfy.
I think I need a Red Bull or 3 for lunch... I'm about to fall asleep! I was sick, but my buddy came in to town to ski/board with me, so we had to go. 7hrs/day while being sick just drained me.
No worries!! I think Lisa did break it! HAHAHA! Congrats on LazyBones finally getting a job! At 2 miles I hope he has a bike to ride there, or that is gonna be one warm walk!

He had a nice cool ride to work, I had the air cranked in the truck. lol.
How are you doing today? How's JL?
Hey Nolan, there is a thread started in the 7.3 with a link in it.
Thanks Lisa.. I love my boys.. If I was feeling up to it.. Saturday morning, Dylan did a great John Belushi .. Remember the zit seen in Animal house.. he didnt even need to smack his cheeks..
the paycheck though... WOW

Cool... New OT. I got to come home early today -- the knuckle heads forgot to send Verizon the info on our test phones for this week, so none of us can activate them. LOL... NICE SHORT day.
I used to wear the 'hammocks, but I'm a boxer-brief guy now. Much more comfy down there. LOL...
Congrats on the kid's job Cris!! That's great news!
As far as working at subway, I think anyone would understand. All you have to say is Dem Pres & "DowN-Jones"...
Man, this is when I miss Mark -- I know he's have something to say.....

The paycheck for what? Subway? What is minimum wage these days anyway?
Well Cris, I'm glad Chase finally has a job and will get out of your way for at least a few hours in the day.
Mike, how is your day going?
Joe congrats on the short day.

And don't worry -- "Help is on the way". "Change is coming". Yeah, right. I'm watching my retirement $$$ go to chit now, and he's crowing about how "95% of us will get a tax cut". Oh boy. $13 extra a week in my paycheck. Thanks. Thanks a lot. I'd rather have my retirement funds.
So while I'm venting, here's another one that when you think about it should get your blood pressure up:
THE JOB - URINE TEST (I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!)
I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%.
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don' t have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please unders tand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their A**, doing drugs, while I work. . ... . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though. Something has to change in this country -- and soon!

A little, thank you for asking. How are you feeling?
Not too bad. Could be better though. Thank you for asking.
Yeah Joe, that $13/week doesn't quite make up for the retirement fund, does it? Don't worry though, change is coming, in the form of pennies on the dollar for what you lose from your retirement fund. If you're lucky.
Amen to that!
