to do an 8 foot bed will cost around $150, and you have to do the prep and put the liner on yourself.
to rinoline the bed costs around $400, and you don't have to do anything but drop it off, and pick it up a few hours later.
we do the rinoliner now on all the trucks. it is easier, and holds up much better.
Thanks Tom. I'm not looking at doing the bed with this stuff. If I have the bed done, it will be sprayed.
I recently got some painted bumpers for my truck and was looking at using the Herculiner on them instaed of painting them. I was also thinking of doing the rockers and the inner, lower part of the doors.

There is a HF a few towns over I might have to go by and grab a couple of wrenches there.
The 2 Autozones in this area are a joke neither of them has squat to rent. People rent the stuff then never return it, and they never replace it.
Jim, HF should have what you need. Our local auto parts store doesn't loan/rent tools anymore. Just gives me a reason to buy more tools.
That would be an intresting project to build Ray.
.
A crude version is easy to build with basic tools and a piece of 3/8" flat bar.The big one I have looks just like the factoy one except is has a chrome handle.I used a 7/8" shaft from a hydraulic cylinder and has a leg I can pin on to brace it so I can whop the othe wrench with a BFH

Nice and sunny here, about 75* I guess. Went to Cracker Barrel this morning for breakfast. Ran into Conroe to buy groceries and then came back and mowed my yard, front and back, and both neighbor's yards.
I was going to wash the truck but instead I am thinking about firing my pit and whipping up some good, outdoorsy type food.
Two outlaw burgers....dude, those might be tough to put down. I make 'em big! They are damn good though. Susan and a few other people have told me that I need to open a burger joint in Willis, close to the high school.
I have two secret ingredients that really set them off.

They call it a clam boil but they are steamed. I have a pan that is two tier. The bottom holds the water and the top has holes in the bottom to let the steam through. I'll post a few pics later on. There done and I'm hungry. I'm going to miss the free seafood when we move.
I love me some clams. Never had them boiled but would love to try 'em. I'm like Ray, have always had them steamed and then drenched with garlic and butter...
