Y'all won't believe what happened here this afternoon. Susan and I were laying around on the couches, watching TV when my phone rang. It was this lady from the Conroe Little League letting me know that my raffle ticket, that I bought two months ago, had been drawn as the winner of a brand new computer.
We just got back from picking it up. Got my pictuire taken with the Little Leaguers and got a brand new computer.
17" LCD monitor
160gb hard drive
1gb memory
CD/DVD burner
Not too shabby for a $5 investment!

It's an e-Machine. Just looked up on the Wal-Mart site, it's $398.

Not near the machine that I use regularly, but it's free and I never turn down free. Wondering if I might be able to take it to Wal-Mart and exchange it for a laptop? I'd gladly throw in another hundred bucks or so for one of those HP laptops.
