Just scored a free chrome grille from a buddy of mine that bought a new SD last week. PO had 3 sets of grilles and a lift kit he included. He gave me the chrome one with a slight blemish thats like 1 sq inch...
Maybe when I put my 6.0 trans cooler in Ill swap the grilles out! Im goin over there this weekend to see the other goodies he left him!

How is everyones evening? Kind of quiet here tonight. Just filled up with fuel. $71 ugh!
Got my exhaust on yesterday and got my power steering fluid changed out to synthetic. I will start a thread in the tech section with pictures once I figure out how to download from my phone. lol

It's deathly quiet in here today.
When I was at Advanced Autoparts to get a new bulb for the Jeep's 4x4 light I looked to see how much they wanted for Rotella 5-40syn and it was like 25 bucks a gallon.
That stuff ain't cheap.

Hey guys n gals, thought id check in here really quick. My uncles funeral is tomorrow, found out pretty much exactly what happened too. Ive been cleaning up some of his things, organizing and securing his shop and stuff. Pretty sad stuff!

$71 to fill, must have been close to empty. That's why I try to fill at 1/2 tank, it looks better on the receipt.

I took mom down to Rite Aid in the Jeep to test the new brake line (and get her to pay for the gas
) and I put 14.5 gallons in the tank. It must be a 15 gallon tank or so because the needle was right on or maybe a hair below E when I pulled in. I've seen it lower so I wasn't really nervous, but it still sucked up a lot of fuel for something that tiny.
My brother was telling me it only gets 13 mpg!
My PSD gets better mileage than that!
Dad's 6.uhoh DRW 4x4 service box truck gets 11mpg! Pretty sad when a 10,000lb truck gets within 2mpg of a 2,000lb (if that) Jeep.

). The people there are cool, except they still think I am some sort of prodigy and ask me all sorts of technology-related questions. Hopefully I'll get my computer and software soon..then I can really show them some stuff!

Almost all the wallys here quit selling synthetic.One out of five in Naples still has it.I picked up 10 gallons @11 a gal
