It is so cooking out here today. Temperature is plus 20 C, or 68F.

I had to take the ol shirt off today cause i was just overheating. Drank a whole TON of water (how many american gallons is that?) and keep having to go in the shade to cool off!

Depends. Is it a regular ton or a "tonne" as you guys call it.

A ton would be 250 gallons.

A tonne would be 275 gallons.

Im going to push for cameras but I dont think they will go for it. Im just going to tell them that the customers will stop visiting the center if they dont feel safe which will force shops to close and then the center will lose money.

The stuff Im not worried about mainly, I just dont want some scumbags on the street anymore. eventually they will move on to bigger things and really do some damage.

John I dont really know you that well (I just got back into the O/T since you started posting in here ) But I grew up with respect for other people and most people my age dont have any for anyone but themselves. Ive always worked for what Ive got nothing handed to me, ever, just wasnt raised that way. Im only 20 by the way. Sorry bout the long post guys
Please don't misunderstand what I'm saying because I am in no way trying to talk down to you. You guys are great and I enjoy talking with all of you. That's the same advice I give everyone that's a victim of one of these type things. I guess I've just seen so many of them, and dealt with so many business owners that don't want to spend the extra coin to put up cameras, that I fall into this advice giving mode. It's all about trying to help people keep their belongings and vehicles safer and less of a temptation to these thugs.

Unfortunately, we've run into this situation with a lot of our local businesses. They have these thefts from vehicles on their lot and they point out that they aren't responsible for vehicles or belongings on their lots. Then they can't seem to understand why people stop coming to the shopping centers, restaurants, etc. I will hand it to Wally World, when it comes to state of the art cameras and surveillance in the store and on the lot, our local store has done a top notch job. I just wish that more retailers took the steps to prevent these types of incidents but it's all about the money.

Like I said Chris, I hate that it happened to you and I hope that the owners of the center take notice now and decide to do something to prevent it or at least have some video to help solve it if it happens in the future.
