Ed if I want to move it along quicker than 20 I've got to put my foot in that skinny pedal and keep it there. It's not like a SD where you can just kinda idle along at 40. You've got to keep it HAMMERED.
I could get up to 50 from a dead stop quicker in the old GMC 1ton mason dump stick shift with a plow hanging off the front we had quicker than this little Jeep can.
Plus this thing is LOUD. But it's not a good loud like the rumble of a 7.3
It's whiny loud like a gasser wound right out.
Oh and I was at soccer not-practice this afternoon and went straight from there to DMV so I'll be dealing with a bright red face on my license til I'm 22.
Fortunately the lady I was dealing with was really nice. Once she took my picture she had me come around the counter to check it out to make sure it was ok.
The guy on the next counter over didn't seem to be very nice at all.
Jeep? thats what you are driving. post up a pic. is this what you are calling pinky?
Just let me know a few days in advance. Gotta "stock up" on supplies. You still thinking of coming up here to do the job?
Congrats on the new wheels and tires, can't wait for pics.
Yes I thought I would go to your place. I think I will cheap out and go the least expensive greasable ball joints I can get. Money is being spent left and right lately. lol
Yes Lisa. Congrats on the new tire/rim purchase.

I knew they were good for a long time there just did not know why. Ours need to be renewed every 4 years in MN.
And don't mess with Pinkie. Pinkie doesn't take any s**t from anyone.
You gotta be tough if you're pink.
Pinkie doing his best to look cool:
looks red to me. I had a 95 Wangler lifted w/ 33's and a dana locker and that 4 cly eng was a guttless whimp too, so I know what you are talking about.

but at least you have something to drive.
It was much pinker before I beat the crap out of the oxidation with rubbing compound and then waxed it good.
Here's a before picture:
And I believe it was Mark that suggested tire black for shining up the fender flares. THANK YOU. They look soooo much better now.
Right on chicky, Im pumped for ya! Im a tire/rim guy and have been all my life, I get excited whenever I get tires and rims!

Well, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit Ed...thanks. If that wasn't bad enough, the whole cast of characters reminded me of a family reunion of the ex-wife's family I went to one time years ago...nothing like deliverance flashbacks. Oh the torture of my profession...
