I want to know who thought up those crazy hours. They need punchd in the 'nads (hard).
I used to work 4-12 hr nights, 36 hours off 4-12 hour days then 4 days off...it would repeat after the 4 days off. Wasn't too bad most of the time, I knew when I was working weeks in advance and just planned things around my work. I just hated being cooped up in a building all the time, so I changed careers. Looking back...maybe that wasn't the wisest of ideas; but then it made since. Oh well
Well it's that time of the year and my little blue supporter thingy expired and at this point don't think I will reinlist
FTE has so much crap going on and with my slow *** highspeed it's a bit hard to stay connected to it
Maybe I can get a lot of other stuff done now
Cris - great to see you in here... for a moment at least!!
Matt - have a great day bro!
g'mornin' to all the rest! I hope everyone has an awesome day!!
I get to drive to the NE side of Philly this afternoon. There's a guy with running boards that are for a CR-V, so I'm getting them & will install them for my mom on her CR-V. The factory ones look nicer, but you basically put your foot UNDER the car! OK for most people, but she needs something that, after 'backing' in to the car and getting her bum on the seat, she can put her foot/heel on and use for leverage. The pups like roadtrips, so it's all good. I'll be adding the black grip-tape stuff to the black plastic step areas for added grip in any weather. Or do you think that a Rhino-Line type coating would last better/longer?
doesnt that rhino lining get slick in cold weather? I like the tape. I have plastic steps on metal bars and I hate going to the carwash cause they always put the shiny spray on them and makes them scary slippery....I usually make them wash it off!
Good morning everyone.
I have a funeral to attend today.
A cousin that I grew up with, died suddenly last week.
He came out of his office, told his wife to call 911 because he was having a heart attack, then fell over dead.
Just like that he was gone.
No suffering to be sure, but what a surprise.
This is the third relative of mine that has gone that way in the last ten years and there is prior family history similar to that.
.
When all this is said and done, I'm going to the Dr. to make sure of things for myself.
Ha well...depends on your definition of warming up. -10 this morning, but that's up from yesterday's temperatures.
I've been doubling up sweaters the past few days.. Sweaters are conducive to static, and I keep shocking myself...in essence, I am zapping myself with my own electrical charge. Thought you guys might find that amusing.
How are you Steve?

Sorry to hear that Dan. I totally support your decision to go see the doctor...I trust your family would appreciate you being around for a long time.

Staying busy at work, keeping the kids out of trouble, helping the wife during her busy season, and just waiting for the holidays, so I can see more relatives.....

Haha right, since you had such a good go round over Thanksgiving right? I'm sure this time around it'll be on your terms.
The bro-in-laws family won't be an issue this Christmas...should be a good time!!!!!
