Not bad..but despite everyone else sliding off the roads, going onto ditches, doing 360's, I haven't had a single problem all winter (driving around that is)

That just might be the case Pat. It does help to have good tools...and its not about the going, its all about the stopping.

Ya, same here. Keep it in 4 hi and chip on stock and its all good. I still miss my old Toyota pickup, that thing would literally go anywhere.
Funny you bring up a yota pickup and that yours went anywhere.
My uncle has a couple of old really rusted out nissan? toyota? datsun? pick ups that are 4 wheel drive, and I was considering getting one, taking the body off, and making some sorta "dune buggy" type deal that would be for 4 wheel driving, but I wasnt sure how they would 4 wheel drive.

yeah, depending on how old it is, they are good little machines. I ran mine to death, sold it..had like 200k on the ticker, and its still running. Saw it around not too long ago.

Don't be a Toyota hater. They are all made in the U.S. nowadays anyway.
