well the doctor just called with the results of the blood work.
good news and bad news.
i do not have the flu.
i have spinal meningitis. he is faxing a scrip for antibiotics over to the pharmacy down the street. i should have the meds delivered in the next 1/2 hour.

this explains the wild ups and down with the temps.
he wanted me to go to the hospital, but it has been 5 days now, and i feel almost back to normal except for the lightheadness and lack of energy.
on the brite side though, i am loosing weight like crazy.

Yes, I absolutely love waiting in line at the NJ state inspection facility. Besides being at work at 4, it really gave me a good start to the day...

Sorry to complain

Morning everyone. Cold, dreary, slickery day out here.

Wow Tom...at least you got it figured out. Wonder if you've had it all along and it keeps reigniting itself.

Well, Tom I'm glad for you that you finally know what to deal with.
Once you get the correct meds going, it should all be down hill from here.
Get well soon.

Ah it's alright Lis.... I think a 20 minute power nap will do the trick, go get some lunch, and then back to work from 1-9.

Thank you though. I know i sounded like a whining little girl, but i guess that's what happens when you have no sleep at all and then have to deal with that.

I'm sure a visit from "Nurse Lisa" would make him wobbly for very different reason!

Hey there peoples hope everyone is having a good day so far!

Today here it was minus 45C with the wind this morning. Crazy cold out. Im bored as all can be in the house, was thinking about bringing my mig welder inside and trying to weld me up a power rack for doing some lifting in the house.

You didn't sound like a little girl...it was pretty benign actually. Would a power nap take place in the truck? Im always amazed at how comfortable the front seats of our trucks can be.

Hmm...if I had to guess, I'd say in this situation, I'd be wearing a white nurse's outfit with garters, with a hat with a little red cross on it right?

That's the beauty of having a crew cab Lis, the back seat of my truck is like a bed in itself, perfect for the power naps or the night when ya drink a little to much

I haven't done the "drank too much" part but have crashed back there while waiting for the start time for the lifts at Keystone or Breckenridge. Mighty comfy, but the fronts are pretty darn good too!

I dont have a crew...but I've slept in the front seat of my truck on many occasions. Works for me.
