Ok Brendan, I have a question for you.
So I've been running the past week or so. I am already feeling stronger and I can run longer, but I still struggle with my breathing. Even back when I was running 3 miles/day, I still had breathing issues. My muscles are fine and I feel good but I have to slow down because I keep getting winded... I had a runner tell me once, in the nose and out your mouth, but its hard to control. Suggestions?

got my measly $2,500 for my house, that headache is gone.
the losers that were going to buy my Jeep backed out. so I re-listed it and I have some other people coming to buy it tonight? supposedly! we shall see.

Lisa, I know the question wasn't directed at me, but a trick that I tell all the sailors that have the same problem when running their PRT is to pick a song, a beat, a cadance if you will. Follow that beat with your breathing. Almost as if you're making a song out of your breathing. This will relax your lungs and train them to a certain breathing pattern.
