Ive seen one 6 banger mustang around town that was supercharged, and it was supposed to be pretty fast. Just didnt have that v8 sound to er though, and to me, that is partly what makes a mustang a fun car, to me!

I have no doubt in my mind that your right, but im one of those guys that if there aint a v8 in that mustang, it aint my kinda mustang!

yeah the early 3.8's didnt... in 99 when they redesigned to split port intakes they also redesigned the exhaust ports and system to give it more of a stock v8 sound... but even them earlier ones if you pick the right exhaust combo you can really make them have the louder v8 sound to them.. problem is most people dont get the right stuff so it comes off raspy... and i agree sound is definitely part of what makes an stang good... its when people just go for the obnoxiously loud (ricer) sound that makes them sound bad...

That sounds really good actually. And they are pretty fast. I rented a 2005 brand spanking new for my wedding. It was hella fast.

yeah.. you get the right parts for them 6's and they can out perform even some modded v8's...
lol ive seen that one before... belonged to a guy on one the sites i dont visit anymore... supposedly has a hire output now...
ive never ridden in the s197's... been in few sn95's though... i like the v8's but i love my v6... but i do hope to have a v8 one day.. that probably wont be till after i get my truck though...
gotta have my tow vehicle first for them track days lol...
