That;s a good idea Chris plus if we do move to Texas it may be easier to sell it there.
Sounds like a plan Pete. That is going to be one busy weekend for us.
Jim, if you buy a trailer and then move here, you can store the trailer at my house until you sell it or whatever. I have a huge backyard with plenty of room for that.
It was a quiet night. J-L went to her brother to visit her neice and sister in law. Jeff promised me that he would take good care of J-L. I have to go pick her up today. It is 1 1\2 hours away.
I'd suggest you check out the craigslist adds in Texas so you have an idea what a similar trailer will sell for down here. That should help you figure out how much you can spend on a trailer. Search cattle trailer, stock trailer, & livestock trailer.
That's a good idea. I really want to keep the cost down.

Thanks so much Scott. I'm going to try and give you a call this week if that's ok?
For some reason I thought that you were pulling one back. I'm actually sniffing around for an enclosed one now. Not to much around here though. The ones that I have seen are junk and they want big $$ for them. The house here is sold so when it's time I'll be needing one to move.
Thats great Jim!

You could put down some plywood or osb on the floor and sides and have pertty much of a inclosed trailer.

Good morning all!
Thanks Brad. The closing on the house is scheduled for June 15th.
I'll poke around and see what I can find. I have a 45' trailer that we use for a shop. Too bad I couldnt hook that to my truck! We even built an office inside of there.

Got a CDL? Could you rent a truck for the ride? I bet you could find an O/O willing to haul that trailer down south for you.

No CDL here. The trailer would need a lot of work to be road worthy though. It is good for storage and that's about it. By the time I put money into getting it road worthy I could have bought a brand new trailer.
