Good morning, everyone. It's August and I'm reaching for a jacket! Why can't the globe warm faster?

Good morning everyone.
Congrats on the job, Cris.
I eat a small breakfast too.
Jim, that's crazy about the electrician's position. If I was the boss, I would be glad to have the "extra" help.
Is it a union job or something?
Have fun at school, Pete. You don't know how good you have it until 20 years later and you look back on your life and remember how much easier it was to get along.
Broken bones suck.
So do Mondays, I'm off to work now.

Good morning Sheldon. Mark, Pete, Dan and anyone else lurking.

Jim, thanks for the well wishes for my son, he is taking it a lot better than I thought he would. He was even joking around a little about it last night.

That is messed up about that interview, sounds like the guy's ego is getting in the way of hiring someone, what a jerk.

I hear ya on the weather Pete, it was 41F here this AM. I'm fine with it though, better than 95F with 75-80% humidity.

I just scored a "new" bed for my SD,provided the seller doesn't sell it out from under me. I can't pick it up until tomorrow at the earliest. It has a little damage but NO RUST. It is also all black, which means I'll either have to paint the bottom of it to match the truck(after it is repaired) or paint cab/doors/fenders all black to match, decisions, decisions.

Jim... sorry to hear about that.

Chris... send some of your luck my way, bud. I'm still looking with no leads. Dozens of resumes out and llots of networking going on, but so far ... I'm getting ready to prepare to start hitting my IRA accounts that are set aside for future retirement needs.

Wish I could spend more time catching up oin everything here, but I can;t take the time right now.

Y'all have a good evening.

OK, I go out and he is hopping and can't put much weight on his left foot. Got him sitting down and pulled the shoe and sock off, BIG lump on the outside of the ankle. I carried him to the car and sent him to the hospital with mom, grandma and one of his friends. After about an hour and a half they come home, he is now on crutches with a broken bone in his ankle. Should make for an interesting start of the school year, he'll be in a splint until Thursday and will most likely end up in a cast for 6-8 weeks.
Sorry to hear about your son Mike. Seems kids usually can't make it but a year or two before they have another broken bone. Just means he is a normal kid is all.

That sucks Jim, but I can't say its a surprise. Like everyone else said, most people get a complex if their employee knows more than they do.

Good luck to those of you out searching for jobs!

Hey Tom, gotcha a present.

She's only slightly larger than a silver dollar.

Can anyone spot the irregularity in this photo?

Pretty good eye. Kinda fuzzy, and getting dark outside.

A bunch of little does out bouncing around in our back yard. Ran outside and played peekaboo with that doe for a good 5 minutes, from either side of the garage. Almost ran face first into that orb spider.
