hey guys. the brakes are almost done on the 02. all that is left is bleeding them. i have to wait for a helper to show up.
if anyone needs a 14 inch rotor for a superduty 4X4, i have one. the parts store gave me the wrong rotors. they have been in the bed of the pickup for the past 2 weeks, and the cover leaked on one of the boxes, ruining the box, and causing some surface rust on the rotor. they will not take it back without a box, so i am stuck with it.
so if anyone needs it, let me know, and it is yours for the cost of shipping and a 12 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon. i can't see throwing away a $90 rotor that has never even been put on the truck.

My puppy was playing too rough this morning, now she has a fat lip and a line across her nose where the fur is missing....poor baby...I held an ice pack on it for a bit...

Jon Bon Jovi broke his left ankle when he was 17.
he drove a pos maverick with a six cylinder and three on the tree.
the day after he got the cast off his left leg, he blew the clutch in the car. his fathers house was on a hill, so we jacked up the rear as high as the jack could go, and stuffed a set of jack stands under the rear.
with the front wheels still on the ground, we were able to crawl under the car, swap the clutch out, and have it back running in time for him to go to work that night.
it's funny the little things you remember 35 years later.
another useless bit of trivia.
Greg Evigan, another Sayerville NJ guy.
when he was the star of the TV show "B J and the Bear", was regularly shown on TV driving a tractor trailer.
he did not know how to drive a manual trans.
we tried to teach him quite a few times.
i think he was the primary reason for the clutch getting fried in Bon Jovi's maverick.
