Part VI
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Went to see Def Leppard, Poison and Cheap Trick last night! Def Leppard puts on a great show!! Lots of chicks there who thought it was still the 80's with ripped up shirts, neon pants, leggings and lots of animal print clothes. Oh can't forget the BIG hair.....
Started looking for a job on Thursday and got hired at the first place I applied at. I think my truck helped get me the job, the manager loved Big Red and was suprised that I drove something so big. LOL. Nothing special just a silly chain store but at this point a job is a job. I'm still looking for other places to work until I start training on Friday.
Hope your weekend is going good. My oldest turned 11 today, having a few people over for dinner.
Congrats on the job Cris, I need to get me one of those some day.
I enjoyed my vacation and took a few pics of Hurricane Bill's waves down in NC. These are about the only ones that came out worth anything. Kinda surprised we had such a good week between Bill and Danny beating up the coast.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Today was my last day of work before school starts (starts Tuesday. YUCK)
Tomorrow I'm gonna try to polish up some of my chrome and get the truck sparkly clean just to **** off the Ford haters at my school.
My school has never seen a diesel-head before. To park on school grounds you need to sign their little agreement. It says you won't play the radio loud, do burnouts, go faster than 10mph, etc. on school grounds. But it doesn't say a single thing about sooting people.
Pete, sorry to hear about school. You'll be showin 'em all up with that truck, that's for sure.
Cris, congrats on the job!!!
Hey Nolan!
I'll gladly borrow anything of yours.
Well I'm sittin here watchin the Bronco's Bears game in HD on Randy's 50-something inch television, groaning because I ate way too many nachos. lol
Smoked out a little red volkswagen today. Little girlie was weaving in and out of traffic, and got stuck behind me...riding my @$$ so hard I couldn't even see her windshield. So I smoked her out at the next light, she had her windows down. Upset her pretty good, all I heard was squealing wheels as she tore *** around the corner. hahahaha!
In my younger years breakfast was a big steak, 6 eggs, taters and toast
today would be more like 16 oz steak,4 eggs, taters and toast

Seriously. I never understood how people can eat such massive quantities of food at breakfast. An over medium eggs and 2 pieces of toast and I'm done for.
I'm all for a big breakfast. I'd rather eat a big breakfast and just snack on fruit and other little stuff until dinner time.

That's about the only time I'll smoke someone out. If I can't see your face in the rearview, get ready for some smoke. Really, if I can't see your headlights, your to close. BACK OFF!!
Now, for the interesting day today.
We were going to go to a waterpark for my sons birthday, but being that it was only 66 degrees here today, we went bowling instead. That was fun and everyone had a good time. My son had a couple friends over and they were playing out in the woods. I head a yell and went to check it out. My daughter comes up and says"Hunter fell out of the tree fort". OK, I go out and he is hopping and can't put much weight on his left foot. Got him sitting down and pulled the shoe and sock off, BIG lump on the outside of the ankle. I carried him to the car and sent him to the hospital with mom, grandma and one of his friends. After about an hour and a half they come home, he is now on crutches with a broken bone in his ankle. Should make for an interesting start of the school year, he'll be in a splint until Thursday and will most likely end up in a cast for 6-8 weeks.
Mike sorry to hear about hunters ankle. Please pass on my well wishes for a speedy recovery and also happy belated birthday.
Lisa, thats a great story about smokin out the chick in the car!
I had a good busy day, got just about everything moved into the new house, the water working,a nd about 1/4 of the electrical in the basement done! (thanks Jim for all your help!)
