Great.
Sounds like someone I knew back in the day. Nothing but a big mouthed idiot.

I got some bad news this week. My Grandfather (he's in PA right now) is starting to go down hill, I'm afraid. We were already planning on going up to see him for his 92nd birthday, but the way it looks now, he may not make it. He's been losing his faculties slowly, but just in the last few months he's gotten bad. My Aunt had to get him to the hospital the other night via ambulance. Found out he's got pneumonia and internal bleeding due to a stomach aneurysm. Dad is flying up now, but we're hoping the rest of us don't have to.
Sorry to hear that Joe. I went through my fathers parents slowly going downhill day after day. Hope they get him fixed up.

Sad...wonder what his family said about that...
Keep the doors locked and a good lookout! Usually they do something to themselves or family before they do something to the actual cuase of the problem....but like they said, the one fruitcake can do things youd never imagine!
If he's got friends like himself & then get to drinking... "liquid courage" is OK when a white guy needs to dance, but not for this.
I will keep an eye out for a bit. The good thing is that he doesn't know where Susan and I live so at least he cannot bring his "courage" here.

Good worker just couldnt keep his mouth shut about how he thought the company should be run. He left the shop with a escort, wasnt police though.
Yep, that was just like this guy. He was always talking about how he thought the place should be ran and he was also a rat. Always tattling on his coworkers for things. "He drove the forklift too fast" or "He came back late from lunch", stuff like that. That didn't endear him to the other guys out in the shop. In fact, they had a saying that "If this place were a prison, he would get punked out and then shanked". That's how well they liked him.
I have been hounding my Doctors office to fax my records to the insurance company so I can collect my short term disability...I have been on the phone more this week than I was last month! Good News...I paid for disabilty ins on my truck loan and they will probably make 2 or 3 payment for me while I am off!
I will be off til Feb 14th with PT, my hyperbaric oxygen treatments (aka diving 0 should be done by then...I haven't dived in 8 days because of an ear, nose and throat infection.
I get my lapband adjusted Jan 20th!
I also see the cardiologist Jan 29th to see why my blood pressure has gone up since losing weight...
I am still hovering around 80 lbs lost!
The cable internet has been down most of the time since saturday, they finally sent out a good tech and ran a temp line while they are waiting for the city of Tempe to grant a permit.
Seems I missed some stuff while my internet was down...
Happy Birthday Brent!
Hope your grandfather pulls thru, Joe...My mom is in the final stage of ahlzeimers now...she could last months or years....
Scott, if you see everyone running...DUCK!
Tristan...I made 7 callls to my internet provider yesterday...I finally got online today...and they are gonna credit my account once the new drop is installed.

Yea, I was without it I think since Saturday. They sent me a new USB card via next day air but since they didnt go out til Monday I waited...didnt show up til today! Then I spent 1.5 hours on the phone trying to activate the dang thing! I feel connected again! haha
And to think I was getting P!$$ed off earlier today because mine kept slowing to under 1Mbps per the wireless connection with the router. I puttered with it for 30 mins then decided to try changing the channel. BINGO -- connection to the router back up to 54Mbps...

Lucky you! I dont think Ill ever have true high speed of any sort. We are so far out that the cable companies wont even run service out here. That will tell you how low we are on the list for Verizon to run anything special out here...

Joe, sorry to hear about your grandpa. Don't be afraid to take some time off to go see him if it becomes necessary.

$28/hr? Maybe I should apply for it.
I could use a bit of Houston weather for a while. We got another 10 inches today, Randy got his car stuck in the driveway...I had to dig him out and was damn near hypothermic by the time I got back inside

Reminds me of a song... It doesn't fit perfectly, but he bought me an old jon boat that I fixed up with seats, bow storage with live well/cooler, and an electric trolling motor. I thought I was the cat's ***, and "Daddy let me drive"... Then when I was overseas, he bought me my first "real" car (my 84 Conv Mustang GT), but I had to pay him back. LOL... Always the business man. And of course, I have a daughter. No Jeep, but I think she'll be getting my truck when she's older. Here's the tune. Nearly always brings a tear to my eye, and will for sure if he passes: YouTube - Alan Jackson - Drive (For Daddy Gene)
I am sorry to hear about your Grandfather Joe, sounds like he's a great man and the song matches up pretty close. Your family will be in my prayers.

Umm Scott you couldn't train me to do that could you. I couldn't imagine making that much money
Tristan, tell me more about this card.. Do you put it in your laptop or what?
Scott, im not free, i charge my ol lady at least 5 bucks an hour haha
Lisa, Ill trade ya weather?
They have one that slides in the wireless card slot on your laptop (if you have one) and then this USB model. I got the USB one because I have a desktop and a laptop and both of them have USB slots so I can use it on both. I will see if I can find a link for ya!
