Wow, finally caught up again. There was a lot of math going on.

She's alive. Got the starter in and fired her up. Man, does that feel good. It's been nearly 3 weeks since I've had a running truck.

Jim, if Gene had been here, I'd still be reading to get caught up and there would probably be 3 more pages too.

It was pretty cool, they were just small valcanoes they made in class. She did a little paper on it also!

Mady's animal project was cute. You could tell we didn't do the project for her and made her do it, I was amazed how many were done by the parents. We helped her like we
were supposed to but didn't do it for her........

Thanks for asking Jim

Hi Mike!

Hi Mike!
A friend of mine is a Cub Scout leader and he can't beleive how many parents do the projects for the kids.

Good night Mike
When I helped Alli out on her volcano project back in October, I had her do all the research, write the paper, and she was the lead in the building of the cone, and the plaster work. I basically just cut the plywood, and run some screws in for her. I let her mix the plaster of paris, and really just guided her through the construction process. When we took it to school there were some moms and dads that obviously did the work for the kids..... I was sooo disappointed in them. How is a kid supposed to learn to do something when they have it done for them.

I was shocked when I saw some of the projects. How are these kids supposed to learn how to do work if their parents do it for them. Mady's may not have been the best but SHE did it and I am proud of that.
