Definetly has a pony engine no electric start till mid '60s,could even have crank start for pony motor
almost no D-9s back then (prototype came out in late '54) biggest was D-8 and it had a 6 roller track frame
Not any evidense what it was used for
I ran these as a youngster and the last 3-t I worked on was in the '80s
Thanks for the info, Ray.
The oldest machines I spent any time running were a TD15E and a TD7E dozer. Both were 80s vintage machines.
I would say there's a good chance that they do know each other. My uncle is James Beckius. There are lots of Beckius' in that area. We are related to the Brocious', the McCormicks and the Johnsons. All farming/ranching folk.
I put in a note on facebook to see if she knows him. I'll be in Stapleton sometime in the next few weeks to visit her.
Good morning back at cha' and everyone else too!
Nothing going on around here, watched Kung Fu Panda this morning. Helps if you have kids to blame watching it on but funny as heck anyways! Jack Black always leaves my sides hurting....

Well I had a wrestling tourney today for conference, I took third and my team took first. This is the first time in the history of my school that we are conference champions. WOOOOHOOO!!!
Great job Jacob! I love sports like that. You get to contribute to help your team, but also can win at your certain event/weight class. Thats why I loved throwing shot put and discus so much thru high school!

I wish I had an excuse to watch movies like that...I havent even seen Finding Nemo yet...and thats been ages ago! Maybe Ill get to catch up when I have my own family!
Yep, it works well Tristan. I'm already eyeing all the cool NERF toys I couldnt have when I was little. I'm really enjoying this so far... Kinda like those pics Cris posted of riding on her girls quads... Now she was really thinking ahead when her and Troy picked those toys up!!!!
And honestly, Shrek has more ..ummm... hidden phrases than you can imagine. It's every bit an adult show as a kids...LOL.
I did see Shrek...sad thing was I saw the entire thing in a the waiting room @ the doctors office...
I dont know why Shrek was on either...it was an orthopedic surgeons office, not a pediatrician!
haha nice! When I had my wisdom teeth out last year they offered the vision goggles or whatever, and there was Top Gun, Shrek and Little Mermaid...LOL... I went for Top Gun of course but it was tough to enjoy with my head shaking around while they were yanking on my teeth....
