Hey good afternoon everyone! And thanks Izzy, we'll all appreciate whatever anyone sends, I just ask nobody get crazy for us! I sent you the addy Izzy.
BTW- the MRAP has a Cat C-12 in it. No *****! It weighs about 30,000 lbs due to all the armor on it but it can take just about any IED ever built. I've seen pics of one that got hit with about 500 lbs of HME, home made explosive. The engine was blown about 20 feet away, both axles were torn clear off and at least 30 feet away, and the rear hatch was warped, but the only injuries were to the driver, who wasn't wearing his seat belt. He walked away with a few broken ribs.
I'm alive, but not too much better. I cant get my head to stop spinning. Everytime I think I have it licked it comes back around and knocks me on my azz. Other than that, I'm good! Tax junk is almost done, looking good so far. Got Claire to write-off this year!!! Might actually get a nice refund instead of paying in all the other years...
Doing good Brent, it's 0110 here, stayed up 'cause I was bored, but now Mr. Sandman is catchng up to me. I think it's time to go pee in the tube one more time and head to bed. G'dnight all, I'll catch ya later
A month or so ago, I was laying in bed, couldn't sleep. It had just snowed, real quiet outside. I could hear off in the distance, two train whistles coming closer and closer. They were two different engines, probably one IAIS and one CRANDIC. Two different whistles and they were talking to eachother as they passed. It was a beautiful sound, it was almost like a real slow song... but you really have to enjoy trains to be able to understand it I suppose.
I totally get that. We listen for the UP unit train every morning as he makes his way thru Willis. I love trains. I have train video, sound files, photos and scale models of them in the living room.

Yes you did. I remember a few details about how he had to poop in a bag, so it could be sealed up and thrown away...thats the alternative to poopin in a big bucket and mixing it with diesel fuel and setting it on fire.

I'd give my left nut to ride in one of those big GE's....
The last time we were in North Platte, Susan and I got up early every morning and walked to the viaduct over the main line and watched the unit trains coming in and going out. It was awesome and surprisingly, Susan liked it too. We took lots of pics and video on that trip.
We caught this on that trip. Just happened to be in the right spot at the right time. This is the UP Challenger. It was passing through North Platte and we got lucky. The date on the photo is wrong. The pic was taken in June of 2004.
Another of my favorite shots from that trip. This was on the main line, west end of the yard. About 5pm on a Friday evening, a freight is making it's way into Bailey Yard.
Well I had a wrestling tourney today for conference, I took third and my team took first. This is the first time in the history of my school that we are conference champions. WOOOOHOOO!!!

Nice pictures. Randy says if you have a pair of steel toed boots, he'll get you on one of those big GE's. No nut required.
