Well...I was sitting watching tv and a commercial came on for the local electric company...
The commercial is over and it hits me...OH ****! I forgot to cancel the electric at my old apartment! I found the bill and they will cancel it tomorrow...hopefully they did not turn the heat or a/c on....just the hot water heater is gonna be bad enough!

I just came back from being called up the the Ivory Tower (main office). The Tooling Maintenance & Fabrication Dept (six machinists/welders and a supervisor) now report to me. It's not another promotion but instead a little restructuring. I worked in that department for nine years, and then was the supervisor there for another four, so I know it pretty well.
Not too bad a way to start the week.

I know...signs like that just make us want to do things we wouldn't normally do.
Yes crazy neighbor lady. I saw her coming and I ran upstairs. Randy went to run interference and found her standing in our kitchen...she let herself in.
He then told her I was in the shower. She said she wanted to take me out to lunch. She acted like she was going to hang out and wait for me to get finished and Randy pretty much had to push her out the door. She dug and dug and dug to get a phone number and he wouldn't give her one.
Good lord. See I'd let her take me out to lunch, and then she'd come back wanting more favors. She's trying to get her hooks in me.
