She is precious JD To answer your question, I don't think it can ever start too early. My girls are already fighting over who get Big Red when they turn 16, neither of them want Troy's chevy

Of course they did, you went out of network. It cost them less when you do that.

Correction...you can make more with a Cummins.
Give me an unlimited budget, and I'll make sure I have one more HP than you...
I think there are examples of 1000+++ HP trucks with both engines, Jeremy. Granted, there are more Cummins that way, but that's simply because of the $$$. Double-Overtime proves that a PSD can make a$$-loads of power. Shoot, Kris will be looking at 800 HP with his. Hopefully SOON!!!
Congrats on the 6 chicklets Joe! At this rate I think Kris is going to have to go naturally Aspirated on his engine because he can't get a turbo that fits!
I don't blame them Cris I wouldn't want the chevy either, get him a 250 or excursion and maybe they'll think different.
So who wants to stay up late with me tonight????? I have my EEG in the morning and I can't have more than 6 hours of sleep so I am going to be up until atleast 2:30. 6 hours of sleep in no big deal, thats all I usally get but I cant have any caffeine before the test. No coffee is going to be the killer.
After that we are going to take the kids over to my Aunt's house and give them their quads for xmas, I really wanted to wait until Christmas day but Troy has to work. This way he will be able to help me load them in the truck and watch the kids ride for a while. I just hope the girls as half as excited about them as Troy is. lol.
You should know better than to throw an offer like that out, I'll stay up with you all night babe. If you would like that is.

Ugghh. The Chebby plow rig is still down and mom is hollerin about how she wants the grandparents driveway plowed by 5:00 tomorrow. Don't worry we haven't left them snowed in this whole time. They're in Florida.
Looks like I'm roading the 2120 4x4 with loader frame and box scraper the few miles there to do it. At least it's a Ford. Except it's an open station.
I HATE SNOW. It hasn't snowed since like 1:30 Sunday and we're done with work until Tuesday and we still aren't cleaned up yet.
Cris: Normally I would stay up with you, but I gotta head out at 7am EST tomorrow morning to get all my snow work done before Christmas and the relatives get here.

Unlimited budget...I'm game.
DO is the only truck I know of with a PSD based engine that has anything over 900 HP. Zane's is the next closest with still having an HUEI system, and his latest dyno run was 871 HP. On the other hand, there are countless number of Cummins engines well over 1000 HP. Just go to any DHRA sanctioned pull and watch the Pro Mod class. Shoot, 850-900 HP daily driven common rails aren't that uncommon. Show me any DD 7.3 that's even close to 800 HP.
FWIW, I'm only a turbo & CP3 addition, injector change, and fire ringed head away from 850+ HP. Heck, the second turbo and CP3, with my current injectors will have me over 700 HP, and still fully streetable.
I'm probably biased though, so perhaps my arguments are not that valid.

I'll be honest. At this point, I'm not so sure I didn't just de-throne you! I managed to get one of the sweetest people on the forum tweaked pretty good. Talk about feeling like a big TOOL...
What is your current injector and turbo set up Jeremy?

I am going to get a 7.3 ex one day and he will then have big red. The blazer will be used for nothing but wheeling then, I do have to say it is a wheeling monster and will climb anything.

Guess I had it backwards, thought they paid less when you went out of network since you have paying a bigger portion.
