I like the idea of jewelry as a practical gift. Its nice for the ladies and its practical in the sense that it can be sold/pawned or melted down in times of need! haha
She's VERY practical, Mark. What can I say. Always been that way. I bought her a really nice set of pots & pans one year. Now her mother is TOTALLY opposite!! She refuses to accept anything as a gift that has handle. LOL...
Joe, I bet if you gave her the vacuum say 2 weeks ago just cuz ya love her and it's something that makes her life easier at home and then something really different for Xmas, you'd be surprised at how it would light up her life and you'd find that she's not as practical as she has you believing she is.
So Julie keeps reading the OT to keep tabs on me I guess and Im trying to get her to post in here but she wont.

I gotta say I really respect Joes wife for wanting something practical, wish mine was a little more like that
I have only bought her three practical gifts one of which she asked for,a set of expensive pots and pans, the other two was two new cars which I was bitched out for buying
She's hard to buy gifts for so now I just give her my debit card and send her shopping
