Good evenin' everyone, looks like it has been slow in here this weekend.
Had a somewhat busy weekend, was really only home to sleep. Yesterday started off with my grandma coming over to show my oldest how to make biscuits and gravy, Ry loves to cook so grandma comes over every few months to cook with her. I provide the food and get kicked out of the kitchen. After that went to my parents to do hair and get ready to go to a xmas party. This party is the highlight of my year, Santa comes with some helpers and they hand out gifts to the kids. (We bring gifts, put them in the garage and santa loads up his bags with those gifts) After santa, we had a very nice prime rib dinner and Elvis put on a show. His show was pretty good!! Managed to get pretty hammered in the first hour by pounding Corona's, had to stop so I could drive home though. At least my head quit hurting when I was drinking!! Not much happened today, had to get new batteries for the truck and just hung out at my parents.

Happy belated B-Day, Nick!
I'm up because I absolutely can't sleep anymore. My head's full of thoughts of everything I have to get done this week before Christmas. Got the last of the shopping done for the rest of the family, and I now I have to find a way to cram in some (very) last minute shopping for the wife. Fortunately, I already got her the "big" gift, so now I have to go and get some more little things.
That, and it's friggin' cold here. Supposedly down into the teens tonight. I guess I'll go plug in the truck since I have to leave in a few hours. It's in my garage, but it just sounds SOOO much better when it's been pre-heated a little bit.
Oh well, I guess I'll go check out the tech side for a while. Ain't no way I'm falling back to sleep now. It's gonna be a loooong day today...

EDIT: When I posted the above image, it showed ~26 deg. It's actually a banner from Weather Underground from one of my neighbors (about a mile or so away) that normally is updated automatically. It will be interesting if it actually updates here or will be just a static snapshot.
