Clubbing with the Copenhagen chica tonight most likely.... Saturday or Sunday will be a new one, Monday is an RN, and Tuesday is Tammi.... any questions??? LOL

Dude.... Seriously....

Nobody is bashing it. Nobody said it was "junk". I won't own one, but that's just my PREFERENCE. If I get a small car, it will be a VW diesel. Instead of shooting Uncle Ben's all over the road, it'll be sauerkraut...

I'll bash any Jap product's I want to bash. All the great engineering (or most of) has come from Germany. The Japanese are a group of pretty good copy cats. That is what they do best. They will take someone else's invention and figure out a way to make it smaller and cheaper. My favorite story of this goes back to World War 2 and the Japs wanted something like the V-2 rocket, but could not figure out how to make it steer itself and Adolf would not tell them. Hence the Kamikaze was born. True story. They would build these rockets, but a warhead on them and install a pilot and light the fuse. What's funny is they would put a helmet on the pilot.

I've got one of them too - 45mpg is awesome!!! mine's a 96 but the new ones are pretty quick!! Did you see the writeup in Diesel Power of the top 10 diesels? I think there was one in there - guy getting 300hp out of a 1.9l TDI!!!

Can't remember the car or too many details, but there was a group using a Golf TDI in Group 2 rally racing here in the states. they made their own BD and used up maybe 20gallons on a race weekend. their RACE car got 35mpg!!! and it was in 2nd place last i remember... diesels are da BOMB baby!!

I would love a Passat with a beefed up TDI, 6-speed stick, and their 4motion awd system..... that and Nyx would have me good

Yeah, they're tough to find. I started looking, but I figured I'd come home to better fuel prices (and I figured right, I guess), so for now I'm not looking for a small 45mpg car any more. I'm having fun with my PSD and am very comfortable in it instead of a 2500lb car, so as long as I can still afford it and its fuel (and PMS of course!!), I'm keeping it. Tomorrow I'll try sniping that van turbo, so then I'll be on the hook for it, rebuild kit, non-EBPV pedestal & outlet, and probably donuts too. Looks like I'll be having a fun Thanksgiving weekend...

Maybe a new set of sticks for Christmas and I'll be playing with the big boys finally! Okay, maybe the medium-sized boys. Kris & his 700HP Halloween-colored super beast PSD are the real "Big Boys", but it'll be fun anyway....

Good luck! I'm with ya...all the way, even the WRX. No hooker shorts here. Fast and fun to drive. That WRX is far from a "Tokyo Drift" type of car.
Hmm....lets see here, I've broken my arm 3 times, fingers a few times, caved in 2 nuckles, multiple cracked ribs, collapsed lung, shattered vertabrae in mid-back, broken ALL my toes except the big toes a few times, uhhh.......I think that's it?

There's only one way he will stay permanently ahead and it will involve my demise. See, I have this huge advantage, he may have all this fancy electronic gadgetry that he can sit in the outhouse and post away, but I have no life.

Can't you just picture Joe sitting in the crapper with his Blackberry or whatever he uses balanced on his knee checking his post count, sneezing and having it slip in between his legs down into the gunk below. That was my last image as I drifted off to sleep last night.

That girl isn't skinny..or maybe that was your point?

Look I don't have any beauty pageant awards at home, so no worries...its no secret I won Randy over with my charm and bedroom skills. Just ask him.

Mark, would this involve your ability to pee in a bottle by "letting it hang over the edge?"

I dunno bro, I think she's nasty looking. Legs like a football player, a stomach like a possum and I bet she has an adam's apple.

Thank you, I am fixing to drive over in that direction in an hour or so anyway. I need a pump for the motor home and it is in the town right next door to Indian Trail. I would like Dan to pipe in here on that car though, half the fun of my Cabby is the stick shift. It also cuts way down on the number of people wanting to borrow it.
