At my current employer, a lot of us dont have much of a choice. We dont get paid sick days, so if we call in, we have to take a pay cut.

I don't think we want to know the whole story. From what I gather, the one "look" Mark got, was of some unexpected twig and berries, if you know what I mean. You catch my drift? YouTube - Austin Powers "that's a man baby"

So now I have visions of the tropics in my head, so I thought I'd share this. Taken from about 25' deep scuba diving near Xcaret, Mexico. If you have never been it's like the mexican disneyland. Anybody else scuba before? Sorry the pic is bad, it's the only one on an entire roll that turned up clear, some waterproof camera that thing was.

Jeremy I'm dying laughing, I love that movie...ugly stick.hahahah

Sheldon, not out of Canada eh? sorry, couldnt help it. You live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, I wouldnt worry to much about it. I adore Canada,

BONUS- Here, they dont allow us to drink in any strip club, I believe its a state law. Up there, friggin game on! Canada will always be held it high regards to me. It's bad when we work near the border, quick jump over for a burger and a view, then back to work. I always seem to not make any money on those jobs... Plus my customers dont understand why I ask for singles instead of a check

I used to have the neatest damn picture of "why my wife won't let me wear short shorts" and I'll be damned if I can find it. Picture this. Everything I own is in this 40' long motor home except for my work tools and I usually know where everything is. That means someone stole the picture. I was going to scan it and post it for all to see. Oh, well.

Nice try JT, but that ain't gonna suck me in. I will say this, it took place in Nam, the pimp was the girls mother, I was 19 years old and the pimp did not think the daughter could handle me, she used a Vietnamese word that I did not understand and bowed and dismissed me after giving me back my money. I left and found out the word translated to, TOO BIG! Now that is all I am going to say about that.

Not gonna beat the plywood horse again but Mark, I built my entire house with the stuff and the price difference for a 3000sq.ft home was only $750.00 more. Talk about a no brainer for quality. I'm pissed at lumber quality too, even better is the new treated lumber we use that is water based..oh yeah, that wont rott. Stupid green building sometimes. I'm all for it, dont get me wrong, we just have some more details to work out I think. What I wouldnt give to use some southern yellow pine, it's all hemlock here.

Take my word for it Brent, you'd not like the Southern Pine for long. It has to be used with a nail gun, it is simply too hard to nail cross grain by hand. Left out in the sun for a few days and it twists like a pretzel. Truss joists and those new laminated beams....what LDL"s??? I can't remember. Those are the only two good things to come out of this new environmentally friendly lumber stuff.

Oh thanks for the tip on the pine, didnt know that.
I think you mean LVL, laminated veneer lumber
PSL- parallel strand lumber

I love ordering super long glu lams as well, makes things nice. I usually just budget in a crane day here and there and come out on top. nice and fast
