woow wait a second..Im not sure if that works under water or not.

I was referring to elevation issues on dry land..like when we go up to the high mountain passes and a lot of "out of towners" experience ear pain until we show them how to pop their ears.

I'm an accomplished swimmer, but never been scuba diving. Only been to a beach twice in my life. sorry about that. I just went back and looked at the posts and I see now that I was the one who is confused..

I am off in about 1/2 hour to go deer hunting for the weekend. Will not be back until late Monday so I will be out of touch with the OT until Tuesday. Then I will really be way behind. I already feel out of touch. lol It's tough leaving your family for that long!

Only twice Lisa?? I dont think you're making it any easier by moving to the middle of the country!

I can't speak of the beaches in CA the rest of the west coast, but I love the beaches of the Gulf and east coasts. Try to make it down to Gulf Shores, AL one time in your life. I loved it there. Alabama, Florida, North Carolina...VA even...I look down on VA beach only because IMO its gone downhill.

Cops dont know where i live anymore, but I also dont cause the sh17 that I used to either!

Back in the day, it was a common sight to be partying in the house, with the cops sitting in the back alley watching. They pointed the spot light on the house one time, and we went and got a big huge one. Next time they did that, we shone ours on them, they didnt like that but there was nothing they could do!

The one cop sure told me what he would like to do to me if I wasnt on my own property that night though! I laughed and told him to try it (staying on my own property though haha)

Oh the good ol days!

You are missing one of the best experiences of life.
You really owe it to yourself to get to a tropical beach somewhere and at least go snorkeling.

Oh the good ol days!
That reminds me of my college days (yea just 2 years ago, but still). I had an apartment right on the main thoroghfare through Richmond (Broad St) and a female cop (butch) told me I couldnt drink a beverage on my "Front porch". I went back inside to get another beverage and discovered there was an apparent murder on the same block I lived on (we were 4th highest in US like 3 years ago) so I went back outside to be nosy. Well the butch was in her car moving down the block and she saw me back out there. Ive never seen a crown vic whip around and spin out so much in all my life. We exchaged more words and she told me this was public property and all this and that and I got the excuse "if we werent investigating this matter over here I would arrest you". I went back inside haha

Well you've got friends on the east and west coast! We wouldnt steer ya wrong on where to go!

I wish I had proper facilities to shoot. We have a swamp 400yds behind the house and I just shoot down towards that way. Except now that hunting season is either in or close to starting I dont shoot back there anymore. Im getting deprived actually.

I would have transferred my "beverage" into a Coke can or something.

Hmm. Actually that indoor Range we were at when I shot that photo is kind of a hole...

I prefer outdoor ranges, and around here those are all "membership" only and for the rich people, so we usually end up in the mountains on BLM or Natl. forest land to do our shooting.

Randy said there are some decent ranges there in Iowa, so I'm looking forward to that. Maybe Leo can chime in on that one.
