These posts of the River, the Desert and the Lakes the River has created there takes me back to when I was just starting out in life and is literally bringing tears to my eyes. So I gotta stop talking about it. I'll bet I've driven by the Grand Canyon 40 or 50 times, but always on my way somewhere important and have never bothered to stop. Something my wife always wanted to do, but I just could not squeeze it in. CHIT!!!!!!! There's another one for you Lisa.

Very true, but if you know the right hidey spots..... hahahaha. I did it. DID being the operative word there, back in my 20's. Heck, in our teens my brother got a special group assigned to our neighborhood just to try and catch us. It was too big of a construction site though basically - too many houses being built, and we were on dirtbikes. Turning 18 definitely had some disadvantages!!! LOL

I remenber doing that on dirt bikes! I know all the trails here so it was easy to jump off the road and pop up somewhere else in town! man would they get pissed...

When I'm sick and just start to feel better, I'll go out for a short run (1mile or so right now) or maybe a 5mile bike ride - get's the heart pumping a little, boosts your endorphins & immune system - then come home, warm shower/bath & nap - you basically get your system juiced up and then rest so that it can really work on the germs - it works for me, but i'm a lacrosse player, so basically a bit of a masochist!!
