The OT
Yep, passing up the most qualified for "eye candy" very annoying that people actually still think and do business that way.
Wow my display looks WAY different than yours.
I have been passed up for eye candy before, the damn eye candy was a friend of mine. I was pissed off for a while over it, I know for a fact I was more qualified but she looked better in a skirt so she got the job.......
Thanks Joe

Instrument Cluster Self-Diagnostic Mode
To enter the instrument cluster self diagnostic mode with the engine off, press and hold the odometer reset button. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position and hold until the gauges sweep (within five to eight seconds). Press the reset button once to advance to each stage of the self-test.
Turn the ignition to the OFF position to exit the instrument cluster self-diagnostic mode. If no DTCs related to the concern are retrieved, proceed to the Symptom Chart to continue diagnostics.
Instrument Cluster Self-Diagnostic Mode
Odometer display Description
GAGE Carries out gauge sweep of all gauges, then displays the present gauge values. Also carries out the check sum test on ROM and EEPROM.
All segments illuminated. Illuminates all odometer segments.
bulb Illuminates all micro-controlled lamps and LEDs.
r #### Returns to normal operation of all micro-controlled lamps and LEDs and displays hexadecimal value for ROM level.
nr#### Displays hexidecimal ROM level and type as stored in non-volatile memory (NVM).
EE ## Displays hexadecimal value for EE level.
dt #### Displays hexadecimal code for the final manufacturing date.
###C Gas engines display last temperature gauge input value from SCP, temperature gauge will indicate present temperature. Diesel engine displays present temperature analog/digital input in decimal as a ratio, temperature gauge will indicate present temperature.
dtc #### Displays a 16 bit DTC in hexidecimal format. DTCs displayed are those detected in continuous operation not during self-test.
EnG Displays English speed value being input, speedometer will indicate present speed.
m Displays metric speed value being input, speedometer will indicate present speed.
tAc Displays the tachometer value being input to the instrument cluster. Tachometer will indicate present rpm.
FUEL Displays the present analog/digital fuel level being input to the instrument cluster as a ratio.
OIL Displays the last analog/digital reading of the oil pressure switch contact resistance, oil gauge will indicate present level.
br Displays the brake fluid level in an analog/digital ratio value.
bAt ##.# Displays present battery analog/digital voltage.
rhEo Displays present hexadecimal pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming input.
rhi, rhS, rho Alternating 1 second display of pulse width modulation (PWM) input duty cycle, SCP hexidecimal dimming step, output driver counts in hexadecimal.
Cr RUN/START sense circuit check.
PA, Pb, PC, and Pd Displays 8-bit hexadecimal value for the Port A, B, C, and D readings.
PE0-PE7 Displays 8-bit hexadecimal value for the Port E0-Port E7 in analog/digital readings.
I had the biggest scare I've had in a long time tonight. We got a couple of dogs last weekend from the pound since our dog is around 16 or 17 now. We were hoping the dog could show the new ones the ropes (where to go/not go, when to bark, what to chase off, etc.), but since they're new, we've been locking them up in a pen at night so they don't wander off. All's been well except for one cat that doesn't care for the new dogs. We haven't seen him/her around much (no I don't know which it is, or even it's name).
Well tonight my wife noticed a car on our road driving real slow, then stop and turn off the headlights. This is a country road with no houses in the area the car stopped, so it was a cause for concern. I walked outside to drive down there and investigate. As I got outside, the lights came back on and the car drove off. Turned out to be a neighbor's truck down the road, so no big deal.
In the moonlight I saw the black cat that has made itself so scarce these last few days standing about 20' from me. I walked toward it, and it walked toward me. It wasn't until I was about 2' from it and bending down that I realized the little black cat was actually a skunk.
I'm happy to announce that I can still move pretty quick, and I'm not currently in need of a shower. I will admit I'm having second thoughts about keeping the new dogs penned up at night.
gas is in the $2.20s and diesel just came down to $3.31
if this next storm gets in the gulf it will be over $4 again

I am using the e-Truckers site for statewide averages. I know I can find it in SC a lot less than what their site says the state average is.

Guys let me know what you think: the real smart girl we interviewed, that my boss didn't like. I am thinking about calling her and letting her know she is excellent and to not let this experience get her down..and that she's better than this damn company.
No complains from you on show and tell, that ain't fair and both you and I know why.

Whaat? Its still 3.19 here in town.
I'm just glad I didn't squat down all the way. My knee won't let me get up as fast as I used to. I had a pistol in my belt, but if you've ever shot a skunk, then you know with only 2' between us, I'd probably still be standing in the shower. (or sleeping in the barn)
