That is crazy how it slid off the roof and made that pattern like that...
Yeah, it stayed like that for a few days before it broke away. I was just hoping it didn't come down while my daughter was in there!!! Made for a pretty cool pic though.
Maybe I am destined to be snow-logged my whole life.
Picture time. Here is a picture taken after it first started snowing, the blizzard of 1982, in Colorado. Denver got hit with 5 feet, drifts of 10 feet in some places. I was 9 months old when this picture was taken:
Those are our Golden Retrievers, Amber and Sandy. The kid in the big coat is my older sister Nicole. You can see my older brother Russell, was 4-years-old at the time, standing near the truck in an orange hat. Can't see my dad in that picture he's under the hood of that Chevy.
My dad used to tell stories about that blizzard. The night that picture was taken, the dogs were out in their heated dog house. The next morning 8 foot of snow had blown into the back yard and dad had to dig a tunnel out to get to the dogs. He then hooked his plow up to that Chevy and went out to save people stuck in their cars.
Something about the blood and stuff that can be real just gets to me. Same thing with watching surgeries and operations. I can't watch them. Makes me queasy.
Ever heard of "Faces of Death" series of movies? Pretty much a documentary on how people/animals die.... my brother couldn't watch it, but then, me sitting there eating pizza probably didn't help.
One thing that does freak me out is the power the state has to detain you. Some nut-job psychologist can have a crap day and decided that someone should be detained for further evaluation. Yeah... you wanna see the ugly side of me? Lock me up somewhere without true justification.... you better NEVER let me out then...
I musta missed what was out of line on the last one.
Im going back to my parents farm this weekend to work on an equipment trailer i have there. Getting a bud to weld up a few things on it, then might even paint er all up nice and make er look pretty.
