With careful welding and grinding the body mount could look like new.
Check all the body mount rubbers, one may have collapsed or is worn out.
I'm actually replacing all of my body mounts with new ones and new hardware. Polyurethane bushings from Amazon. They're much stronger than the synthetic rubber ones and should last a lot longer.
I just need to drill out the old bolts that are still stuck in the factory bushing collars because they're required for the "new" setup.

Do you plan on driving the truck much? You might regret going with Poly bushings. I was going to swap to Poly bushings on my Mustang but everyone I talked to said that unless you're racing stick with factory style rubber. Poly is too stiff and will transfer all the road feelings and vibrations straight to your body...
