How have you been, Morris? Been kinda crazy around here lately......

 

I`m nursing a bad cold that just won`t go away. Other that that it`s nothing new here.....

 

well........let me tell you......

 

when i stopped by earlier i forgot to say hi sorry boss..... please forgive me!

 

my kids are in public school.....my 10 year old was sexually harrassed last year, the principal put the kid in my daughters class again this year.....I confronted the principal about this BEFORE the first day of school....he said, "it didnt even cross my mind that there would be a problem"...even though the county school board as well as child protective services were called in last year.....he could have moved either child at that time and refused to do so......after fighting for the past two weeks about this, the counselor told my daughter if she wants to switch classrooms she can, she had to decide by the next day....OMG!!!!!!! "NO SHE DI'NT"!!!!!!! And yes, she did....I was on the horn with the CPS lady at the county board of education the next morning, advising them that I was seeking counsel, as I cannot believe that the school was expecting my child (the victim) to not only be harrassed, feel afraid to go to school, now to have to change teachers and make more new friends???? OH HELL NO!!!! (pardon my french!!) I also wrote a note to the counselor advising her that I would be seeking counsels advice......daughter came home and let me know that the school moved the boy out of her classroom that morning.......but only after CPS called to reaffirm my decision to seek counsel.....UNBELIEVABLE~ I so want to homeschool my kids again!!!!

I was also woke up in the middle of the night last week by the police chief calling me because they couldnt get the mayor to answer the phone.....when the mayor is unreachable I am in control of the town.....GGRRRRRRR.....so, i get out of bed, get dressed, head to the town hall to find some poor soul to wake up so he can go play in the gunk coming out of the manhole cover by the sewer pump station.....AAUURRGGHH!!!!

at work, I am having a blast.....I love the job, like the hours, and my boss is the bomb diggity, co-workers arent to shabby either......

and THAT, my dear, is only the icing on the cake

i went goose hunting yesterday morning... not a very good turn-out. Father in law got 2 ducks, I got one goose...

i'm looking forward to the winter for snowboarding, but i'd be happy if it'd just snow on the hill and not in our driveways... we've got a boarding trip planned for this feburary in kimberly ski resort... looking forward to that. also looking forward to winter being over.........

Morris you sound like me, I can't take the cold anymore!! It was at one time my favorite season!!
