Pissed down rain here all day, really knocked down the snow but supposed to snow again tomorrow..You win some and loose some but when it comes to snow I'd rather loose some..
Just found out the folks upstairs have sold all their furniture, they didn't get any action from the signs they made but I had spoken to a few good neighbors that were passing by the truck and one thing lead to another. It's easier to sell to familiar faces and their relatives through word of mouth than by advertising.
Got all my parts washed down today and now I reek of gas, parts are clean though.
A moving out sale?
Dirty me and clean parts is how it usually goes.
There was a bit of rain in southeast Sk, those roads will be a real mess.
Weather guessers are usually wrong except when it comes to bad news.

I guess if you don't like the current forecast wait an hour, it'll change.
The people upstairs are going to Toronto, he has a brother there and some closer relatives than he has here. The guy got laid off 6 weeks ago and theres no recall notice, outside of starbucks theres nothing else for her and that just covers daycare. Our unemployment is 10.2% plus we have quite a lot of Trump mentality morons out here and he's had a couple of incidents with "go back to where you belong" aholes. They are both Graphic designers and can make a better go of it back east. To bad they're moving but under the circumstances, I would do the same thing, why spend the winter waiting it out when you can do the jump now and get the restart started.
Tomorrow I get to open up this future headache transmission and start inspecting everything.
It`s a shame about the way people upstairs are being treated and that they to go Toronto to find work. Good that he has brother plus closer relatives there.
I don't know what our unemployment is but it's less than 10%.
I forgot just how much fun it is welding with a fogged up helmet.
The whole street likes these people except Ken, but he's a drunk. Won't say anything to his face but when his drunk friends are around, then he beaks off, same way at a lot of places. Evan will do okay when he has family around as they can point him in the right direction, out here he's on his own basically. It doesn't take many aholes to turn a place to schit. Most of us on this street get targeted for various reasons, we're problem people if we stand up for ourselves, we're supposed to be subserviant victims and appreciate it.
Try using glasses when all you really see is your reflection, lol, nothing like welding in a fog is there.
My clean toys that I get to play with this week, trans gets torn down tomorrow. Don't know how good an inspection it'll get as theres a community meeting tomorrow at 6.
Rear disc conversion underway. New Axle hub bolts picked up today. Upgrading to grade-8 bolts for peace of mind.
Will be having rubber brake hoses custom made sometime this week hopefully. Thought of switching to ss braided lines, but then I'll have fluid leaking everywhere every time I do a brake job (can't pinch a ss brake line).
Looks like I caught a $$$ break on this transmission, only need the 2nd gear synchro and 2 gaskets. The gaskets are for the input shaft sleeve and tailshaft housing, can use RTV black on these pieces. Will need a new release bearing for clutch.
