They're for my F350 project truck, have the 10 bolt axle from a F450 with disc brakes to put under the truck and want the taller commercial tires for economy and durability
Aren`t 19.5" tires a lot more money? I`m happy that I have 16'' on my 01 F250 Super Crew, I got rid of the after market 18''s and the lift that came with it.
John Deere colors?. The 19.5's are quite a bit more expensive and heavier weight wise unless you get aluminum outside rims. The big difference is the harder tire and height get you a bit more fuel economy depending on your motor and transmission set up and rear gear ratio, I've got 3.73's. They will last for a lot longer than LT duallies as they are made for a heavier weight load and are more puncture resistant. This truck is meant to pull an RV and basically look nice and nothing else, the inside dually will be a drive tire for traction on gravel and grass but the outside dually will be steering tires for highway handling, this thing won't see much weight, just highway usage.
This truck will be the closest that I ever get to having a custom built vehicle so there's a few things that will be done differently than normal, just want to get back to working on it but have to do some neighborhood cleanup first.
Weather ****** got in the way today, want to get my details done before I start driving the truck and a high of -7 instead of 0 makes a big difference on my bare fingers. Oh well, theres always tomorrow, priced out the interior and it'll be about $250 for carpeting in both trucks, would be going the Home Despot, RONA way for that price.
