Hardest part will be taking a dent out of the tank that the previous owner put in there. I have had the tank airing out for the past few days in my big shop, and plan to wash it out with solvents, then maybe soap and water to get all the fumes out so I dont blow myself, or the tank up! Its fun, I love working on stuff like this!
What if you blow compressed air in the tank, maybe the dent will pop out, Gig
We had the rain yesterday, sure was sloppy. Saturday they are forcastin +22, Older son got knocked out of playoffs, 1 game left for my little guy. i might be able to bring the 56 out and get some work done before baseball starts.
Last post 8:46 am, I had a busy day at work and didn't moniter today. where is every one? Cat got your finger?
I`ve been outside enjoying this beautiful weather, I washed the salt off my Ranger and cleaned up my Bobcat too since it was so nice out.
I`m looking forward to getting my 56 M100 out but it`s not getting painted for a while yet I`m afraid.
I had no idea about Kermit.....
Morning All ! My project this weekend is drop my gas tank on stang and drain, change fluids, battery and take for a spin, weather permitting!
Have a great day
Well Sherm if my deal comes through you make sure you come up and try it out!
Did you get rid of the Harley then? And the King Quad??!
Though I truly find that offer to be a bad idea, I'll be first in line to ride that bike. Nothing I enjoy more than riding a different style/brand of bike every chance I get.
The harley departed this past fall. I was doing a lot of work out of town, and a lot of longer days. We only had one vehicle so I sacrificed my Harley to get my wife a small SUV. I had planned on getting rid of that Harley anyway, as there were a few things I didn't like about it that were changed on newer models, not to mention the 110hp difference between my Hayabusa and the Harley left me feeling a little empty.
I sold my KQ last spring. I hadn't hardly used it the summer before, only used it once over the winter, and knew time wouldn't permit using it last summer. Also with the family growing it wasn't big enough for 4 people, and I couldn't afford to buy another at the time.
As my kids get older I wish I wasn't such a workaholic, but can't seem to get my mind around changing that, so instead of buying another bike for "me time", I decided that it was much better to get some thing that we could use as family time. The 2 ATV's will be awesome for that.
