Bummer about the beef Sherm, we need to be getting another 1/2 soon ourselves. It went fast as we only got one deer last fall.

 

Morning fellas. For some reason it warmed up a little last night (weird), now is cooling off for the day. Looks like some parts of the province are in for a bit of snow this weekend.

We're pretty much in the same boat Collin. I didn't get drawn for moose or elk this year, we went for regular elk but didn't see anything. We sold a few chickens around Christmas time that now I'm wishing we hadn't. Hoping we have a line on a 1/4 of a Dexter steer, should hear today. I have a deer hanging in the barn from this season...been meaning to bring it in to thaw and de-bone but keep forgetting...

How'd the party go John? I haven't had a drink since Christmas... Got a bit laying around, but I'll leave it for thirsty company

Little purk in my step today!! Out installing a 4th wheel kit on my new Phazer along with some DuPont slides. Have two sets of 6" shapers coming from Royal, New Hindle full s/s exhaust installed, FX Shocks, SKid plate and SNOW ON THE WAY!!!! Finally!!!!!
Got a smoking deal on a pile of parts for the Phazer from my Dealer that closed up shop last year. They sold all remaining inventory. 150 got me over 800 worth of Yami stuff so I had to dip into the sled fund.
The guy I sold my 07 Phazer too, broke the pivot arm in the skid so I pulled, welded/gusseted the arm and re-installed yesterday. SHe was pretty cold out and my baby was in the mancave so no choice. Finger tips are still burnin At the end of the day, It was the right thing to do even tho it was a month after selling it. And i'd probably do it again cause that's just the way I roll

Red River Yamaha on old Henderson Hwy.
They closed up shop last spring. Sad to see them go, they were a good bunch there. Still have contact with all of them, which is nice. Manager is a mile away one way, mechanic is a mile the other way

 

Good for you Curtis, more people need to be doing that. I got my Phazer loaded up and ready to head up to Archerwill tomorrow.

I've been tinkering with my new baby. No snow and everyones complaining (Fellow sledder buddies) and I've rolled over 1100kms already. Can't wait to get out with it now. Did some upgrades. Didn't need but with the last Phazer I just fueled and logged 11,000+kms in 3 seasons. So my sled fund has been really fun to invest in some aftermarket mods and upgrade some deficiancies Yami has. So far i've installed:
Hindle full stainless system (dyno'd 18cHp gain)probably the 1st one they ran off the production line. Ordered before it even went into production.
StudBoy Shaper Bars (6" inside and 6" outs)
Dupont sliders
Powermadd hand guards
From that Yami blow out sale:
GYTR Skid plate
Oil Lite bushing kit
4th wheel kit
After all that I bolted the 07 FX shocks back on and pulled the stabilizer. Did a little testing but that was right at the end of the snow. By that time I did my 1st oil change, chain case oil and for an added 5hp some Decals!!
Saving up for some Elka shocks now and Frog SkinZ

Sorry, excited for some snow. This lack of doing what I love is killin the brain, never mind a new toy to play with.

Morning fellas... 2" of snow overnight here...more to come all weekend. They're saying up to 30 cms over the weekend depending on which station you tune in to.

It seems like alot agreed. Pipe was the big treat. The deal I got on all the other stuff was part of that sell out. I paid 1/8th the price so mumma was actually amazed I brought stuff home that's "On Sale" . Usually when I go grocery shopping is when I get in the most trouble
