Don't think the retirement has sunk in yet, I got my last full pay check today but still have a bonus check coming on the 25th, once that's dead and buried I think I'll begin to realize life is about to change,lol

When my dad retired, every place he went he tried to negotiate a seniors deal. He'd give them the fixed income story. He wasn't shy either. If he couldn't get anywhere with the clerk, he'd ask for the manager. Quite embarrassing for my mother at times. I think a little of that will rub off on me. I say it won't now, but they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
