50 and rain at 9pm ... Don't feel like Christmas . My kids and grandchildren are home , so I can not complain . Hope you all have a good Christmas holiday !
I`m glad you feeling better in plenty of time for Christmas Grant.
Good to see Jordan gainfully employed, hopefully he`s saving his money up for a Ford truck.
Your shop is looking really great Gerry, it`s more like a showroom than a shop!
We've had pretty the same weather as Melville, like Sherm said, we`ll have lots of rain next summer.
That`s a long ways to Home Depot John, I'm glad that I`m only 15 minutes away.
Only a little light snow here, if you want it we`ll send it your way JWC, we don't want you to miss out on a white Christmas.
As the day gets closer... Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Gerry, stay inside and off the streets. Freezing rain is a death trap.
While I am not a politician, and perhaps this is not the time nor place, (Mo can remove if it crosses lines)... I would like to ask that no one vote NDP or Liberal in the upcoming election. These clowns seem hell bent on bringing back the long gun registry. Why is it that they cannot see that placing more restrictions on law abiding citizens will not lower crime rates? Since 2011 when the original long gun registry was scrapped, crime has not skyrocketed, it has hardly changed in a any way that could be linked to the gun registry. Seen a clip last night where Mulcair says "if a hunter drives a registered vehicle, buys a registered license, has a registered dog with him, whats the big deal in having to use a registered gun?" Well...the fact that it is a pointless waste of taxpayer money is problem #1. Some other issues to think about is that the dog does not have to be registered, that is an owners choice. The cost of vehicle registration goes to maintaining our roads and infrastructure, the hunting license is a way of regulating wildlife. In no way, shape, or form, did the long gun registry affect crime in a good way. If anything, it created more criminals when people had unregistered long guns in their possession. Guns which they had owned for many years prior to the political BS.
Rant off...I just hope that there is enough of us straight thinking people who will not support these idiots in their efforts to make life more difficult for normal citizens.
Sherm, freezing rain ''warnings'' dont scare me, I went to Toronto & back today.
thats about 450 miles....... and no freezing rain.....
PS I have never voted Lib or NPD in my lifetime
Happy tuesday evening everyone. The excitement is building here, two more sleeps till Santa gets here which, I have been reminded of several times today.
Doctor eh Grant? He's not going to follow in the family trucking footprints?
How was the big T.O. Gerry? Glad you made it there and back alive
Our house is getting excited for Christmas also, Colin. I go to Regina tomorrow to pick up my sisters at the airport. The kids are excited, we all are.
Happy Merry Christmas Eve mornin'all. Have a safe and happy day today guy's. Sherm: I have another son that may end up being a Transport Magnate. He sure has the personality for it.
Of all the times I've driven across Canada, I make sure to avoid the cities if it is at all possible. T.O. is no exception. Luckily the route we take never goes near it so we're ok Going through Ottawa, Montreal, and the outskirts of Quebec City are more than enough for me. Doing dealer transfers would be cool though.
I would be nice for someone to follow in your shoes Grant... With 2 daughters, I think my chances are slim to have someone carry on construction. I've been asking for a son... Probably going to have to adopt a male puppy.
Hope everyone is having a great day!!! Stay safe and warm, giving lots of love to your families for the season and forever I know I will be.
