Morning Gents. Yesterday turned out to be a beauty despite the frosty start. Today has another lovely beginning, chance of thunderstorms tomorrow. We could use a shot of rain.
Moved a few small trees last night. We have a good bush cover on all but our south side. I'm going to build an evergreen shelter belt on the south side and a row on each side of the driveway. The sides of the driveway will probably be towering poplar if I can find them.
Have a prosperous day everyone, unless your plan is to be lazy, in which case, have a wonderful lazy day
Morning boys and Grant... Thunderstorm watch out for today. We could use a drop of rain.

I like most trees. Poplars don't bother me as they grow fast and provide shelter for other trees to grow. I prefer evergreen trees so there isn't as much mess to clean up in the fall. I have a cousin back in NL that has some maple trees. He has made syrup from them. There were/are cedar trees at each corner of our house, they're slowly getting cut down as they fill up the evestrough with their droppings.
Happy Hump Day mornin'all. We too are expecting shower's / thunder shower's for today and tomorrow. Then high's of only around 10deg on the weekend. My neighbor planted some kind of willow to border his yard. They look good, and grew super fast. Lombardy poplar or other hybrids are reasonable priced, are very hardy, and grow quickly. Have a great day guy's.
We got your rain Sherm starting last night ending early this morning, still cloudy and over cast so more many be coming.
While evergreens are my favorites I like wild poplars, no planting there and they are maintenance free.
