Afternoon everyone. Went and had breakfast with my dad only to get some bad news. He was almost done the process of setting up his hardware store. He was going to sign his final papers tomorrow, when he got a call and was told that the mall where he was setting up is being shut down because its falling apart and the new addition's roof is slanted so the snow is going to land on the old roof and collapse it. Everyone in the mall has to be out by the fall....
That's an AWESOME grass cuttin machine there Morris!! Ticks are on the rise here as well. Last year we didn't have much but this year i've had 3 allready. Never mind the scitters, holy cow are they bad around here.
It sure cuts down the time for larger areas.
It`s been windy and on the cool side lately so the mosquitoes haven`t been a big problem but they`re out there in large number, another reason I like to keep as much grass cut short.
You have a good weekend too Gerry.

I sure will. I'm excited to take it out, but the place I store it has a slough for a parking lot. I've asked the owner to fix it a few times, he keeps promising that he's on the list to have it fixed, just waiting for a guy. I think I'll tell him to have dirt brought in, I'll spread it.
Sell me either the '67 or the '86 and save yourself the maintenance costs... You can pm me...

You have some blood to be proud of there Grant!!
I spent the day being a mini farmer. Broke down a 16' cultivator to 10' so I can pull it behind my JD 3038E with less effort. Cultivated the 2-3 acres of broken ground that we have. Also planted a garden and bought a 60" King Kutter tiller to help keep things in line... This acreage life is the best...
we did plant some punkins. Potatoes, squash, carrots, parsnips, beans, beets, and maybe some other stuff. I shouldn't say "we"...my wife planted...I just tilled.

You don't need mufflers, they just make vehicles quiet... Who wants that

No other locations he that he could just move into. He is going to be "compensated" for his losses and hard work but that compensation won't cover all the money he would be making from this hardware store. I want a garden but I don't have a big enough area, that and the fact that my puppy would be digging in it the minute we take our eyes off him...
Randy, why is the ABS dash light staying on the 150. Shop told me that due to the gear change that the computer is having a hard time reading it. Shop said a new sensor is required but not the factory 4.6L sensor. Does this make sense.
Morning Boys and Girl(s)? Sunny and cool this am, nice little breeze there to keep the mozzies at bay.
TJProp have the guys traced the ABS sensor from one end of the truck to the other? I don't see how your gearing would affect it. In my experience the ABS sensors are located very close to the discs on all 4 wheels. My experience is limited to mustangs...I broke a sensor removing the rear end for new gears...

Have a happy Sunday Fellas!!!
Shop said it wasn't a sensor but the computer mod or something like that. Does any of this make sense?
It`s a nice and quiet Sunday with a bit of rain here.

Everything is for sale, just not yet.
I can`t imagine living anywhere but here on the farm.

It`s been lightly raining here, not a great weekend at the local drag strip.
Lost the game today. Our very 1st game this year was umped by the same ump we had today. In the1st game my best player, (also an ump) Chalenged A call and was ejected,. Every time that player was to bat, it was an out. Today we warned that player to keep quiet, and he did till he was ejected for giving the ump eveil eyes. (no kidding). One of my coaches went to talk to the ump (not kindly) and got ejected also. The ump comes to me yelling and calling everyone idiot's, and I softly asked him why he is yelling at me? He kept on his rant, and my other coach and I kept quiet. I explained to him calmly, this is a game for the kid's. You can wonder why people don't want to volenteer to coach. The ump in question is actually the head ump for South Winnipeg. I understand the problems with getting official's to work all types of sports, but once and a while the coaches may be right. Rant over have a great evening.
