Holy Crap...

I go away for about five days to work hours on end to bring my utility const. business project(s) back up to schedule (two men down right now) and the FTE free-thinking world of *****-nilly OT threads has been compressed down into one tidy little 20+ page thread.

All one has to do is try and "catch up" with this one to see the fallacy of the approach. I'm not going to even try....although there is scuttlebutt that there is a picture of a female someone's.....

Ohhh, nevermind.

Its okay Mark. I really wasn't offended, just dishin it out a little. I appreciate the apology and that you have enough respect for me to do so. I realize yours is a humor that is often misunderstood, I know this because I find myself in that predicament sometimes. But I did have to defend myself, can't have people here thinkin I dont shower. Thats just gross. lol.

I can only imagine how scary you must seem to those poor 20 something boys she brings home, if she has even done so! I am sure you raised her right enough to know the difference between a good man and a lousy one.

Yea. I made mine read your thread about your daughters close call at work to show her how quick thinking in a bad situation can really save your but.

I still worry about things like this when she runs around with her friends.

I was not aware that any boys that age were not lousy ones.

I tell my girls that all boys are rotten except for Dad and Grandpa.

I have some idea. My dad was a big scary man, when he wanted to be. Of course I have two older sisters, so by the time I came around to dating age, he was pretty mellow and had seen it all before.

Not all boys that age are lousy....its just that she's naturally attracted to the one's that are typical to their age..at least right now. she'll figure it out soon enough. Everyone has to learn these things on their own accord, like drinking and hangovers. She won't realize that you were right all along until she gets herself into a situation where some guy treats her badly and she thinks to herself "gee, I wish I could find a guy who treats me like my dad does".

Not that i've ever been a parent before, but I've been a 19 year old girl before.

My oldest daughter put us through hell between the ages of 14 and 18, but at about the age of 19 it was as if a switch had been flipped. She even sported a bumper sticker on the car I had bought her that said "The Older I Get The Smarter My Parents Get"

Huh? A union for what? They want to be paid for peddling their ***'s all over town? I think there is a hooker's union for that.

Wondering if it is Critical Mass? They are a bicycling group in San Francisco that makes all sorts of crazy demands like certain roads should be shut down at certain times so that only cyclists can use them and so forth. They are like radical bicycle people.

Now, I don't think it is possible to hijack THIS thread, even with a bicyclist union.

If its epicenter is Madison it may be San Francisco connected. A lot of the same weird types live in both places.
