Hmm, we'll see, and yes I do have a life, short though it may be. I work night shift, Sun throughThurs, fish and work around the house and yard in the morning, stop by FTE, make a futile attempt to sleep for a few hours, visit FTE, type a little, work on honey do list, go outside to enjoy the late evening, hot temps and high humidity, back to check on FTE, shower and off to work with a bunch of young cute nurses at the hospital. Leave work at 0700 and start all over again. Weekends are much better, This weekend for example, home from work Friday 0730 work on getting boat ready while still below 90*. Come in, check FTE, try to sleep for a couple hours, fail at sleep, up at 3:30p, off to fish night tournament by 4:30p fish 7pm-2am, home by 3:30am, check FTE, Shower, bed by 5am, up by 8-9am honey do most of the day, beer and food of the day, FTE, bed by 11p, up for tournament by 3:30a on lake by 5:30, back home by 5:30p, shower, FTE, nap and back to work. Tournaments vary from Sat to Sun. Sat tourneys get me out of honey do's and Church on Sunday.
During the fall and winter, through a few trips to woods for deer per week in and that's part of my life. So yep, I have a life and I think it's a pretty darn good one. And yes, I am married and to the same woman for 25 years last month. She tolerates my life and helps finance my bad habits.
Thanks for asking.
Cool life Barry. Thats lots of fishing. I did fish quite a bit when I was younger. I don't have much time nowadays with the store and all.
Congrats on the 25 years. I think we have 28 years.

My fishing consists of fishing around in the cooler for my next one......
Sounds like Barry is doing life the right way. Good for you, Barry and congratulations on the 25 years. That is really awesome.
Well, as right as my body and my finances will allow. Averaging 3 hours sleep per day probably not going to work forever, but what the hell, I ain't going to live forever. Oh yeah, one IMPORTANT thing I forgot to mention, We don't have kids, guess we were both selfish when we were younger and didn't want to give up anything for kids, that and my wife refused to raise TWO kids.
Not nearly as much as it was, Fuel and gas prices have slowed it up a good bit. Truck does ok but the 300 hp Yamaha on a 21ft bass boat will flat drink some gas. I think I used about 20+ gals Friday night in a 7 hour tournement, and we fished a bunch, just had a 25 mile run down river and back.

Barry, I just read the above and found a reason (finally) to feel sorry for you. Beyond a doubt having my 3 children was by far the smartest thing I did in my life. Their mother was able to be a stay at home mom, and they all turned out the way kids with stay at home moms should. Kinda Leave it to Beaver type stuff, except for me and my all important toys I just had to have, somehow we got by. If not for my oldest daughter I would have been dead 10 years ago when my bride walked out on me, with a jerk that pretended to be my friend for 25 years. All those years, as it turned out, it was not me he wanted to be pals with. The jerk wanted my wife and everything I worked my *** off for all those years. Screw him.
Thanks Mark, but we were unable to have children, our dogs were allergic to them. While there are times I think, maybe, but for the most part, we are happy with our life and don't think I would have changed a thing if I could do it over, except, I would never have bought my first cigarette, and took better care of my body. Oh yeah, I would hav joined FTE the day I bought my truck.
except, I would never have bought my first cigarette,
Man, you and me both!! I was considered a jock star of sorts in high school. Quarterback on the football team, and school record holder in the 440. Did not even know anyone that smoked. Then along came the Marines. 90 boys in the boot camp platoon. The DI announced "The Smoking Lamp is Lit" and I found I was the only non-smoker. The rest is history, and they are literally killing me to this day.
Just got back from camping, thought i'd share a few pics. No real scenery pics, sorry...forgot my camera and all I had was my cell phone.
Fun trip mostly. Boyfriend rolled my quad, that was interesting! He came out mostly unscathed, with a few bruises here and there. Luckily I had my custom gun-case rack mounted on the side of the rear rack that saved my boyfriend AND the quad itself, kept it from rolling down the side of the mountain.
Got to tear the quad apart the next day but the quad faired pretty well, mostly just lost a lot of fluids. Put 5w-40 Rotella in the quad, turns out the Kodiak likes syn diesel oil.
Here's a few pics of my dog Mattie doing some quad riding:
A few pics of Randy (grey shirt) and my brother, Russell (orange shirt), starting a fire the old fashioned way. It took them nearly an hour and it was highly entertaining.
Not bad pics at all for a cell, glad the hub is ok. Looks like a very nice place. Enjoy.. Shouldn't your pooch have a helmet on, lol, no helmet laws in CO.?
Guess we're done with fanny shots, huh? You look a hell of a lot better than that dog though.
Im not so sure about that. There weren't a lot of cameras around, but I avoided the one's that were. Near the end of the trip, I hadn't showered in days, no makeup, running around in BDU's and army boots. Attractive, Lemmie tell ya.
& my dog is cute! Terrible quad rider though. Too top heavy.
Lisa, don't you hate it when they forget the matches. I kind of like the top heavy ones myself. And yes yours is cute.
Are we talking about the same thing here? I think the dog kinda resembles my Vdub, ya know, so ugly it's leaped over into the cute range. But when you mention the heavy and top in the same line I get confused.
