So here's the deal. All the OT threads I could find on the first four pages or so are closed and I will continue to close them as I run across them. However, since roughly half of you like the OT threads there will be one made available to you (this one in this case).
Keep in mind that this is, and always will be a family friendly forum. Anything that that belongs in the club will be removed. Other than that feel free to discuss any topics you wish.
We're presently not considering truck technical threads off topic. I'll leave the tranny/axle/brake/etc. threads alone. The OT thread is dedicated to those of you that want to talk about quads, laptops, recoveries, etc. etc.
I was hoping that I could post this without having to start my own thread.
I buy oil by the barrel and they charge me $15.00 for the barrel whether I give it back to them or not.
So being stubborn, I kept two of them so far.
Anyone looking for a 55 gallon drum that is clean?
I'm not looking to sell them, just give them away to somebody who wants to use them for fuel storage or make a burn barrel or whatever.
I live in the N. Seattle area, so if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM.
I would take them off your hands if I lived close enough. The two burn barrels I have now are kind of old.
When I get supplies in on pallets, I give them the same number pallets back and they don't charge me for them. I would think they would want them back to reuse. Or maybe cleaning them is too much trouble.
I have the urge to post an off topic.......about absolutely nothing, so I guess that is off topic? I'm off to the parts store to buy tranny hose and more Mercon V to finish my dang install on the tranny cooler! Arrrrgggh....leaky hoses kill me!
Form Kris, "So let me get this straight. Your job (legally) is to stalk items belonging to people who arent paying up on their debts... then "reclaim" them when the time is right? This 300k bus, did you have to remove all personal items from it and then take an empty bus, or did you just drive off with all their stuff inside? Do you somehow get local authorities on your side to pull this off? Do the owners know exactly what happen when they return from dinner or do you think they just assume it was stolen?"
That's right, this bus this instance... yes, get in and go. The debtor can get in touch with the financier to find out how to go about retreiving their personal affects.
Yes, the authorities are notified the moment said collateral is in my/our possession.
And yes, 99% of the time the debtor ('owner,' I don't call them that because they don't 'own' it) knows what time it is... That one percent has been lied to.
BTW, I wouldn't have gotten out of bed for 5%.
