Sorry guys, the nets been down here for a while, i tried to copy and paste off of all-data but it wouldnt work, matter or fact it wouldnt even let me highlight it so as for specific instructions i cant help, but if you run into problems im back on the net. Yea that septic tank was a bear, when i said me and my dad were diggin up the septic i meant my dad made sure the shovel fit my hand and he sat there makin sure my tailgate didnt blow away (he was sittin on it LOL). All is good there now, replaced the teracota (sp?) towl with pvc piping. Ha people are still knockin on me bout the drinkin thing, hey in a year il be able to drink legally, maybe we can meet up and you "old timers" can show me the ropes at the bars LOL.. Hows that head job comin?? Good to hear you got the heads reworked and they fixed future problems for you, its just a few less things you have to worry about now. Doing bodylifts on those arent to bad, do i smell a new project coming on?? lol..
Glad to hear you're ok, we were worried sick, he thought you drowned in a tank of poo, and I thought you were in the slammer, anyway, I bet after this he won't want to see a new project for quite a while.
Glad you got the job done for your dad. Family comes first (the reason why this project is taking so long). I'm taking the next four days off to get it all put back together. I've got plenty of instuctions on paper to get the cam and crank aligned but it never hurts to ask someone who has done it if there's any tricks to the trade.
Being able to "roll up" the front end is a dream project. I think about it every time I change the plugs!
The four days I dedicated to getting it all back together, I ended up working on mandatory repairs on two of my daughter's cars. I should have had boys. Hey 88FordF-150, do you want to get adopted?
Lol im not adoptable, hah im gettin up there in my years (20 LOL)... Hey my email address is johndeere_green1988@yahoo.com (if you have questions for me), just in case i get booted off of here, had some words with some other people on here, might be booted im not sure yet.. Its a long story and I WAS in the right, but it was like 4 guys against one, and it seems some admins may take sides...idk..
Lol yea thats about it, but no basically tired of "veterans" (experianced members) always putting down young people like 16-17 for doing things to THERE trucks, that the "veterans" dont like. The name calling they do is also childish. Its rediculous that they act so childish, and treat people so badly.
Careful Madsonp. Don't make him mad. That septic line might not be the only thing he's buried in his back yard. So, I'm just amazed at the progress I'm making. Tonight, I finished bolting the heads back on, helped daughter #3 with her geometry, helped daughter #2 with her calculus, and tried to convince daughter#1 that an Arby's gift certificate is a great graduation gift.
Yup. Brand new. I torqued all the bolts in sequence at 30 lbs.ft then at 45 degrees followed by another 45 degrees. Now comes the timing chain. That's my biggest concern about getting it on the right link. My right bank cam sprocket doesn't look like the one in any of the repair manuals.
