They look purdy and beefy, but the spring adjustment threads don't look to be all that deep. Also is there a lock nut to keep the nut in its place so it doesn't unthread on you? I guess if they are designed to handle the stress, they should be good to go. Hurry up and get this thing done so we can hear the 300 roar.......

I dont think it will be as bad as you might think. The low end power of a 300 with the 6.71 gearing of the rocks things might get interesting. He'll deffinately be able to keep the tires turning and will do a better job at it than say a 302 or mild 351W would.
if I could easily and efficiently get 600+ hp out of one while still having the manerisms of a 300 (peak hp at 3500rpm peak torque at 2000rpm wont die even if the water pump fails type thing) I wouldve built one for george. I love those motors.
