Howdy all,
My name is Jarod and im from Bethany, MO. Its a small town about 30 miles south of the Iowa border, right along I-35. Its about 100 miles south to KC or 100 miles north to Des Moines for me. A few months back, I picked up the truck in my signature (XLT Lariat 300 Straight 6) and I love it for what i use it for. I'm a welder, chainsaw and other OPE mechanic, and a custom knife smith. I also love shooting targets (making my own bullets, too), fishing, and bow hunting in my free time. I've gotten so much valuable info from here that i decided to become a silver member today. I appreciate all the past and hopefully future help and I'm not a master mechanic on big engines (mainly like working on Stihls, Husqvarnas, Dolmars, and Echos) but if i can contribute in any way or in regards to my specialties I'm happy to share what little knowledge I may or may not have. Haha!
Been a member for awhile now in the bullnose forum and just now found out about local chapters. Pleasure to meet everyone. 77&79F250 - looks like I am just down the road from you.

Hi everyone - I am pretty new at this and hope it goes well. I am located in Cottleville, MO in St Charles county just West of St Louis. I purchased a used 2011 F450 Lariat truck a few months ago to tow my 40' 5th wheel RV with and have had a few problems with it that I have been working though - mostly by reading a lot of the posts in this forum - GREAT STUFF!!!
Welcome to FTE and the Mo chapter. Yes the FTE forum is VERY helpful and make sure to stop by the Missouri chapter monthly BS and chat thread. We are all on there daily checking in on each other.
