New to the fourm and just picked up a '64 F100 on Monday. Looking forward to fixing it up while driving it for the next 8 months before handing it off to our son when he turns 16. We live in O'Fallon.

Welcome to FTE and the Mo chapter, sounds like a great rolling project for you and then handing it off to the son at 16, is a awesome "dad" move.

Good evening fellow Ford enthusiast!

Grew up on Fords, heck half the time I end up with a cut or a scrape the blood runs out with a blueish tint to it...

After years of searching I have finally found my baby!

1978 Ford F150 Ranger ext cab "Trailer Edition" two tone cream and brown with 57,899 miles!
400 Motor,
New brakes,
Rebuilt Carb
New radiator
Good tires.
2WD (Only down side to her)

Paid $3850 for her with two full tanks of new gas.

Box has some surface rust and the drivers side seat has a small tear.
Picking it up on Saturday and I hope to start a thread with plenty of pictures.
I have big plans for it and could use some veteran advice on were to find parts and how to make some subtle modifications wile maintaining a near stock appearance.

Also, Haven't picked out a name for her yet and suggestions would be welcomed

Keep in mind during the summer months most folks are out side working on trucks and enjoying the weather, but come winter time the forums really wake up.

You are more than welcome to hang out with us midwest folks.
