Hey I am just joining here and I am not yet an owner of a ford vehicle I joined mainly to gain some insight on an upcoming purchase. If anyone has any helpful information about a 1990 F-250 with a 460 big block that would be fantastic. If you would like more information about the vehicle I can give that too.
No need to be sorry, it happens....lol Again welcome and make sure you sign up for your state chapter. Its a great way to get to know folks, get a lead on pieces and parts and maybe even get a hand working on your own truck someday?
My name is Bret. Live in Springfield. I've been registered in the forums since 2009, but have largely just been a lurker.
I have a '40 Ford 1/2 ton stake truck and a '54 F100, which I just hauled home from it's 30 year storage at Dad's house. Currently working on getting the '54 back on the street.
Here's my photo albums page, in case any of you want to look at my beaters.
Welcome aboard! Springfield is just a stone's throw away from a good few of us. You're only about 20 miles from my shop, "Performance Inc." in Sparta if you need any fab work done. Lots of good guys in here with a lot of knowledge. Be sure to stop by the monthly B.S. thread to see what's happening.
welcome... love the 40... ya need to come by the bs thread.. would like to see yer trucks in person when i get up that way
What part of MO are ya in? The '40 stake truck has been known to get around! LOL In the past 2 years, it's gotten around 12000 miles added to the odometer.
Welcome Bret, yea no more lurking lol, be a regular guy and stop by here, besides its free and easy. We check up on each other pretty much every day, lend a hand where we can as far a info or parts and be regular Ford truck loving folks.
Here is the map to all the Missouri chapter members. Unk Bob's AKA Ubereal2's local is wrong on the map, he use to live in Ozark and he is in N.C. But hopefully he and the family will be back in Mo someday.
We try to have G2G's (get to gather's) at the Off Road Jamboree in Springfield and meet at Alan's shop when we can. We are a small group of good normal people.
