Welcome to the chapter, Joe. We'll try not to hold the Marines thing against ya' though. (There's some Army and Air Force guys around here) But seriously, thanks for serving and welcome aboard!
Hey Everybody! New to FTE but have been lurking for awhile now. I just recently purchased a new to me 78 F250 supercab 4X4 and want to bring her back to her original beauty (without getting kicked out and having to live in her! -read WIFE).
Long slow process I am sure. I have mechanical experience and have a knack for figuring stuff out. I used to be the neighborhood shade tree mechanic and did a pretty good job.
Looking forward to meeting you all and sharing knowledge and help if asked. I live outside of Ofallon in God's country.
Thanks for inviting me.
Long live the old Fords!
Xcal- Dave
Ain't that the truth and welcome xcal, I actually shot a Excalibur round for the m777a2 acouple of weeks ago. $500k gps bomb just to blow up some stuff. If you need anything let us know
If I did not know you were in the military and in the field artillery at that, and it is your job to do that, I would think you were were a rich extreme hunter, or one crazy redneck.....lol.
If you can spend $500 on a deer hunting bomb, yes you are rich and crazy.
I am planning on getting home, finishing red and work on blue some more and the old Bronco, to take it to SMORR. Maybe start on the frame rig, that's all.
Nice, and it's not $500 it's $500,000 just for this thing is truly is badass though, uh-60s should have some that's be ultimate weapon, now I think if I shot this thing with a kill radius of 150 meters with a over cucussion radius of 300 meters enough to kill u from brain damage....I don't quiet think there's gunna be much of the deer left to eat on, what do u have left to finish on red? And on blue? I forgot to ask where you was from in Missouri rich?
Welcome new members. I'm beginning to feel like the minority since I didn't serve our country, Marines in '85 wouldn't take somebody who'd had a broken bone and since they wouldn't take me, I said screw it, no military service. I wish I didn't know everything back then, I shoulda taken the ASVAB and went in anyways.
With some stuff, I wish I had pics to upload, I've custom made out of diamond plate aluminum a custom flat bed, done a ton of custom work, and love it, haven't done much interior, mostly paint, and custom stuff outside wise, so how long have u owned blue?
