I'm a new guy, from Springfield area, joined the sight to get info on re-doing a '49 F1. My son and his son and I are taking this straight little F1 to the dark side with a new chassis, V8, and all new cosmetics. We don't have any idea what we are doing. Sure is fun though. We enjoy reading the posts here and learning from you folks. Look forward to communicating with all. Ololds

Ololds: Good to have another old truck around here. If you have not done so already, come see us in the 48-60 area. There are a ton of knowledgeable, helpful people in there. Now....darksiders are welcome, however, if you are doing the "other brand" engine swap prepare to get teased a little.
Welcome Highboosted and ololds! Ololds, you're close enough to be considered part of the Lake Region for which I'm the leader. Keep your eyes in the Missouri Chapter for a post 'Lake Regional Meet for November'! Come join us and have some fun!!
Welcome ololds - I agree with Brian_B it's nice to have another old truck around. Your F1 project sounds very similar to my 56 F100. Glad to have you on board!!!
