I figured I'd introduce myself to the chapter since I'm from the KCMO area and don't plan on ever leaving.
I've got two trucks:
'94 F-150 XLT SC/SB 351W E4OD 4x4
'92 F-250HD XLT SC/LB 460 ZF5 4x4
The F-150 was a plow truck in a prior life. 300k miles on the body and frame. It's on its second set of springs and spring mounts. Engine was rebuilt by previous owner, lightly modified but not enough to warrant a tune. Currently undergoing a trans and t-case rebuild. Other projects have pushed this truck to the "back burner." It's got plenty of life left in it and I plan on finishing it. I miss driving it some times as it was my first truck.
The F-250 is my semi-daily. 162k miles. It runs OK and it's in pretty decent shape. I paid way too much for it but after living with a misbehaving E4OD for a while I wanted a truck with the ZF5. Haven't done much to it except for rear disc brake conversion and general maintenance. The 460 is an underrated engine in my opinion. I'll happily take bad fuel milage for the reliability this truck provides, even with gas as high as it is now. This truck has never let me down. (I'm knocking on wood right now.)
After owning a truck with the ZF5 for a couple years, I might make a thread about how to spend $1,300 worth of man hours and resources to make a "forever" pedal box with nothing more than an entire machine shop at ones disposal. You know, for when a guy is tired of replacing the plastic pedal bushings.

Just picked up a '74 F350 dually with a dump utility bed! All original! 3rd owner - Was an Arkansas DOT truck used for pothole repair.
Second owner was a mechanic there and maintained the truck and bought it from the State when they sold it. Says the 61k miles on the odometer is original miles - It looks it but who knows.

Glad to be a part of the group!

Rob from Troy, Mo. (Northwest of STL) Thought I'd introduce myself. Have a new to me 2017 King Ranch Super Duty with the powerstroke.
My wife and I bought it to yank our Travel trailer around the country as often as we can. Have had an 80's Ranger, 1998 F150, 2000 F250 7.3 powerstroke, 2002 F250 7.3 powerstroke, and now the current 2017 F250 Powerstroke. Have been wandering around FTE for quite a while, and happened to bump into the Missouri Chapter info.
Anyway, great to meet you all!

You're just north of me. I've never done the camping thing Excluding my Army time but do love Fords. Hope you find this site informative, amusing and comfortable. I think the members here run from old trucks all the way to the newer stuff.
Enjoy your time here.
